The only reason they got 1 star is for the hostess, who have us out drinks... and did her job! We sat there for over 15 mins. She was double sat, we were there first, the other customers 2 females and a baby, right next to us. The waitress finally came out and went to them first. So giggly and goobery to the baby, didn't even acknowledge us AT ALL. Apparently they were known by the staff, several came over to their table. We think they were staff on their off day. She went in back and got their drinks, came out and still didn't even look in our direction, we were 5 feet away from the other table. An, "I'll be right with you", would have worked wonders. NOTHING. We are both, former servers recognize the, "double sat", scenario, but you always acknowledge. Still we sat, after 20 mins we were done. As I said the HOSTESS, applaud her for the drinks, we left 2 bucks for the few sips of tea my friend took. As we were leaving we told the hostess we were leaving because we sat there and were done waiting. Now you may say maybe she was confused by who was first, uh no. My friend went to bathroom when we got there, and heard hostess, tell her we were sat, plus we had the drinks on table... Maybe they were busy, noPe, we were the only tables in the booth section, there was a bar crowd, for football, but they were in bartenders section. Honestly I've been double sat, triple sat, and it's not fun, but you always, always get to table within 2 mins and you always acknowledge the customer, I'll be right there. We went to Winston's around the corner of same strip mall next to Ruby Tuesdays! Way better experience and the food was awesome, and menu similar, better, same as far as menu pricing, with a few entree differences. Way better experience, see Winston's for review. I highly recommend...
Read moreThis location is the worse. We called and asked could they take a party of 12 and we were told yes. The waitress Madison did not write down our orders so she didn't put all orders in. Four people in our party did not get their food after over an hour and Madison had a bad attitude after we ask to speak with a manager. Madison goes to get the manager and comes back says she is yo busy, you can talk to the bartender. After waiting for her another 15min, nothing was resolved so we canceled the orders that did not come and asked for checks after we waited for another 20 min we decided to get up and go to the front because we knew someone would appear and here comes Madiosn with her nasty attitude. We told her if the manager does not come we were walking out, the manager Kristin appeared within seconds and she was just as rude as her staff. She could not understand why were upset receiving one plate of food every 5 min and threatened to call cops, we told her to please call cops, we still had not received a bill. The bartender said she will give discount that never happened. We we walked in the restaurant was not busy. A party of 15 came in after us and their party was served all their meals. Kristin just stood there dazed and confused told us we need a reservation, no where on website says a reservation is needed. So just be aware that if you complain about your service Kristin will threatened tp call the cops. Go to the Greatbridge location. Kelly's probably will not be around to much longer they on the way out and will...
Read moreWe were so glad to run across this little tavern. We came into town to attend my brother's funeral from Ranlo, NC. To Chesapeake. We were obviously feeling down. We met Kory, (the sweetest bartender ever, BTW.) We ordered 3 beers even though there were only 2 of us. I explained to Kory why we ordered the 3rd beer. It was for my little brother. He served 24 years in the US Navy and retired as a decorated senior chief. My family has a tradition, if one of us goes, the others are required to belly up to the bar and buy one in honor of the the sibling that passed. We then ask the bartender to keep the beer on the bar until closing, so they can close down the bar, just one last time. Kory and Leah honored our wishes. The atmosphere in this bar is phenomenal. The regulars are even amazing. Fast forward a day. We came back the following evening after we said our final goodbyes only to be greeted by Kory with a big smile and waving is over to 2 open seats at the bar. She said "I have a picture for you" she showed me the picture of little brothers beer along with a 🕯 lit to honor him as they closed the bar. If you all have never been here, please stop in. We loved this little spot. We haven't met a stranger in here yet. EVERYBODY in this place are so friendly. The beer is cold, the food is wonderful and the staff, man, you won't find any better! Thank you Kory and Leah. You guys will always have a special place in...
