Firehouse Subs Crossways Center — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Update- June 2025. Points starting to expire which never did before. Taste was ok but starting to be a bit dry like I've seen other firehouse sub places do. Hopefully just a1 off but have that funny feeling they will soon part. Cross fingers they won't but when they start eliminating things, that's a tell tale sign.

.Best subs in town. Sad to see many go out of business. They cost more then Subway but Firehouse are much better. You get a fair amount of meat with options to buy more for your sub which to me makes all the difference in the world. If they do it right, awesome!! Had a few places like one in Portsmouth that tend to be on the dry side. Got new subs called Steak and Cheese I think which really isn't a sub but man is it good!! Can't have often as the spices bother me. They are very fast also so if you're on a lunch run..a huge plus also. My only pet peeve is they charge extra for brownies instead of chips in their combos which I consider kind of cheesy. Sometimes they are dry, hard and no where's worth it but some places don't have my Lays French Onion. Still great subs though and gave 5 starts despite my pet peeve cause they...

This is my 2nd day of not having the proper sandwich made. I asked for a LG Veggie, No Mayo No peppers No mushrooms Extra Lettuce Extra Tomatoes

I received the fist time on 5/8/2025 Mayo and a crap load of peppers. Called and had to bring my sandwich back the following day. I did not get my receipt and didn't plan on having my sandwich made wrong. Second attempt, 5/9/2025 11:37 10015 ticket don't have what I asked for on it they were to make it my way I asked it to be made. I got Mayo on my sandwich, I also received no extra Lettuce or extra Tomatoes.

I am not pleased with my service and not pleased at the way this was settled.

I am allergic to this thing and was sick all afternoon due to eating half of the sandwich.

Then you respond 10 days later. I should have went to the ER, due to lack of following directions. Which seems to be a thing there...

I ordered a simple tuna sub with no cheese, add cucumbers on door dash. The sandwich had so much tuna that I could’ve literally made two large tuna sandwiches with the amount. I got the sandwich fully involved with lettuce, tomatoes, Mayo, mustard (no onion). My sandwich only had tomatoes on it with an extra glob of Mayo. Who puts extra Mayo on a tuna sandwich??? It was so much Mayo! This was a door dash so the instructions were literally printed out for these people. So how did y’all mess that up?! I ordered door dash because I didn’t want to go out into the rain but guess what I had to do? Go out into the rain. Just to get the the store and no one had any idea who made the sandwich. I guess it made itself. I used to frequent this location when I was pregnant all the time but never again in my life!!!!!!! I won’t visit this location nor any other location ever. YALL...
