Yesterday was my 1st experience with Raising Canes Chicken. My in-person experience was so-so. I did have high expectations for the food and experience because of all the hype from when they initially opened 2weeks ago. I did not go when they 1st opened because im an impatient person and i dont like waiting long periods. So i decided to go Yesterday when i was off work and had more time. My experience was the following: TIME: There was a long line throughout the store(it was packed). But it did not take too long before being able to place my order (maybe about 10mins, given the amount of ppl in there). After placing my order, i did have to wait another 10-15mins to receive my order. So from the time i got in line till the time i actually received my food was apprx 25mins. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The kids working inside were great! Very friendly, positive attitudes, very helpful, they were workin fast to service the customers! 100pct good job for them kids handling all those customers 👏👏👏. Drive-thru was cray-zee long too! THE FOOD: I ordered the 6-piece chicken fingers meal with a sweet tea/lemonade mix. ALLL of the sides were perfect! The food was fresh n hott! The coleslaw was tasty, the warm garlic bread was the best food item they had. Now comes the disappointing part...the chicken fingers were all things perfect FOR THE EXCEPTION of the taste! This taste-less chicken is what you would serve to someone in the hospital that cant have any type of seasoning, sodium or flavoring. The chicken was bland, barely any seasoning even in the breading! I was confused and conflicted at the same time because the chicken was perfectly warm, perfectly moist and tender. Even the dipping sauce taste was savory and perfect but that darn chicken taste absolutely taste-less. Definitely disappointed with what i was excited for. Expectations were defeated 😔. I thought Raising Cane was gonna be stiff competition for Chick-fil-A(right down the street)...NOPE...not at all! Raising Canes is in a prime location for business and i can see them taking customer business from other nearby restaurants ONLY IF they change their recipe to include seasoning their chicken! If they DO THAT, then Chick-fil-A is in trouble. If not...then ill continue to drive right passed them and order my spicy chicken sandwich extra pickle and pepperjack cheese, sweettea/lemonade with Chick-fil-A 😋🤗. Ill come back in 6months to see if Raising Canes improves their chicken. In the meantime Chick-fil-A is still on top!!

Once upon a time, in a land of culinary delights, there existed a humble establishment called Raising Cane's. Little did I know, this modest chicken finger joint would become the epicenter of my gastronomic universe. The first time I walked through those welcoming doors, the aroma of perfectly fried chicken hit me like a symphony of flavors. I ordered the iconic Box Combo, not yet aware that my taste buds were about to embark on a journey of epic proportions. As I took my first bite, the world seemed to pause. The chicken, golden and crispy, was a revelation. Its tender juiciness was a siren call, luring me into a blissful trance. The crinkle-cut fries, hot and crunchy, were the perfect sidekick, whispering promises of endless delight. Each visit, I found myself surrendering to the allure of Raising Cane's. The coleslaw, cool and crisp, was a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the chicken. And then there was the Cane's Sauce—oh, the Cane's Sauce! A concoction so divine, it could make even the sternest critic weep with joy. One stormy night, as thunder rumbled and rain poured outside, I found refuge within the cozy walls of Raising Cane's. The staff greeted me like an old friend, their smiles as warm as the food they served. The restaurant was quiet, a sanctuary from the tempest beyond. I sat by the window, savoring each bite of my meal, the world outside fading into oblivion. The buttery Texas toast was a revelation, its soft, garlicky goodness transporting me to a realm of comfort and satisfaction. Each sip of sweet tea was like a gentle hug, soothing my soul. In that moment, I realized that Raising Cane's was more than just a restaurant. It was a haven, a place where food transcended mere sustenance and became an experience. Every meal was a celebration, every bite a testament to the artistry of simple, honest cooking. So, if you seek more than just a meal—if you crave an adventure for your taste buds, a symphony of flavors that will leave you yearning for more—come to Raising Cane's. Here, amidst the crispy tenders and golden fries, you might just discover the love story your palate has been waiting for.

Chicken is ok. I liked it enough to try again. Fries are not seasoned & toast is soggy. PLS READ this review to save EVERYONE sanity on their HORRIBLE parking/ drive thru... 1. ENTER coming from the Wells Fargo side!!! 2. DO NOT enter coming from the Best Buy side for drive thru! U will NOT be able to turn left into Canes. U'll be required to pass Canes to turn right, across the Boston Market into their circle of cones for drive thru. 3. Dine in? Just park across from Cane's lot and walk across their traffic "intersection" instead of going INTO their lot to get stuck. 4. EXIT is right turn only towards the Best Buy. 5. Here's my review on staff: They've been open a week now, the hype is still new but the staff REALLY needs EXTRA training. There's 8 people trying to direct traffic from N, South, E, and West. None of which can communicate with each other bc everyone is yelling to stop or go or turn or don't turn. They're clueless. The girl tried to stop my car so she decided to stand in front of my hood to direct traffic to go right & left of me. If I was rear ended in this messy drive thru, she would be so hurt. Not bright at all. 6. Imagine the beautiful Chik Fil A set up at the com, where there's 2 employees in each lane so they can take 4 car orders at the same time with their tablet right? Wrong! The girl was walking car to car in my lane & the other guy was up front doing nothing bc she was doing it all wrong. When she asked me "what do u want?" That was already a STUPID greeting. I told her, I'll order from him up there so u can do 2 cars at the same time like ur supposed to. 7. Time process? I arrived at 1pm on a Friday. Got to order at 1:22 after following all the traffic in. (It's ok, I'm not complaining about time.) Food arrived at 1:34. I went to put my card in my purse since the car in front of me who got their food wasn't moving yet. It barely moved and I get a tap on my window "u can go now." The staff here REALLY sucks!!! Everyone I met outside today was ghetto and rude. No need to not be nice to people because your job gets busy. This place really needs better representation for themselves.

So this place just opened yesterday. It wasnt bad by any means, but absolutely none of the food I ate would compel me to go back. I am willing to give it another try later. Perhaps this was just opening week issues.

The place was clean and modern looking, as it should be for a brand new restaurant. However, the dining room is surprisingly small. They did use some of their square footage for outside seating, which for this area is a bit strange. Pretty much no one sits outside in the wintertime here and spring and summer gets ridiculously hot and humid... Whatever. For some reason they had the music (playing top 40) up so loud, that I could barely hear the person ringing me up. I kept asking her to repeat everything. Of course this meant everyone in the restaurant had to yell to anyone else with they were with. I couldnt even block out the noise with earbuds shoved in my ears and listening to a YouTube video.

So they dont have a lot of menu options. I have no problem with that, its actually kind of a nice change from having too many options at other places. Its chicken fingers or a chicken sandwich. I went with chicken fingers. You also get coleslaw, Texas toast, and fries. You also get a cup of Cane's sauce to dip your chicken in.

So the good: The chicken fingers were huge. They are not skimping there. They were cooked well and juicy. There were plenty of fries, as well. The Texas toast was a decent size, as well. The amount of coleslaw was just right - I wouldnt want more.

Now the bad: Absolutely none of the food's flavor was remarkable in any way, shape or form. You know the phrase "Turn it up to 11?" They did the opposite. They turned the flavor down to 1. If I have you a piece of chicken from Chic-fil-A, Popeyes, or KFC, you would instantly recognize it. Raising Cane's chicken fingers tasted like chicken fingers. There was nothing special about it at all. Thats where the Cane's sauce comes in, right? You are expecting an explosion of flavor or spice or something from this purposefully named sauce. Well... It was kind of subtle as well, which is surprising since I just looked up what in it.

Honestly, based on my first visit to Raising Cane's, I would prefer CFA, KFC, or Popeyes. However, I am going to give them another chance. Ill go back in a few weeks after the rush is over and see if it...
