QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Chester

I used to LOVE Qdoba. It was definitely better than Chipotle. I have mostly gone to Chipotle for the last 10 years cause there was not a Qdoba in any part of town I go to regularly.

So, I'm not sure if Qdoba in general has changed to go severely downhill or if it's just this location. Qdoba was always superior for it's soft stretchy tortilla... Now it's drier than Chipotle. The rice is dry and flavorless. The chicken is dry. They didn't put cheese, salsa, OR guac on my online order. They wrapped the burrito so the chicken, beans, and onions were on top and the rice was on the bottom. The pickled onions were not well pickled. On top of that, the burritos are very small compared to what they used to be... In this case it was fine cause it didn't taste good anyway.

Next time I want a burrito in Chester, unfortunately I'll pick Chipotle.

I had an amazing experience at the QDOBA Grand Opening in Chester, VA! The atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly, fast, and clearly excited to be serving the community. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made to order especially the burrito bowl, which was packed with toppings and seasoned just right.

The restaurant was spotless, the service was efficient despite the big crowd, and the energy made the whole visit feel special. It’s so nice to have a place nearby where you can enjoy quality food at a great value. Chester definitely needed this, and QDOBA delivered!

I recently dined at Qdoba and ordered a bowl, hoping for a satisfying meal. While the food was fresh and flavorful, I was disappointed with the portion size and value. Compared to Chipotle, the bowl was noticeably smaller and more expensive. My partner and I spent $25 for 1 bowl and 1 burrito with no extras and no drinks, and neither of us felt full afterward.
