I have been a Texas Roadhouse customer since this location first opened. I have enjoyed the food, the prices, and the customer service…until today. Now, I am not sure if I will ever be back. I went today at approximately 1pm to enjoy a nice meal after church with my wife and stepdaughter. We each ordered an item from the Early Dine menu. Our food was amazing, as always. However, after I paid using the ziosk, imagine my utter surprise when I saw that we were charged full price for our meals, not the Early Dine price. Not only that, but we were charged $1.99 for supposedly playing a game on the ziosk, even though I can assure you that we only touched the ziosk to pay. Thinking that it must be a mistake, I talked to both the waitress and the manager, who both said that there was nothing that could be done because it was a third party transaction since we used the kiosk. Talk about passing the blame. Are you sure it wasn’t Trump’s fault?? A couple of issues… 1) The Early Dine special is advertised on a big sign on the front of the store as well as in the menu. If we are there within the timeframe, why should we have to announce to the world that we want the Early Dine special if all of our orders were on there? Good customer service would have the wait staff ask if we wanted the price from the Early Dine special and/or would automatically give us that price. Maybe you are willing to pay more for the exact same item that others are paying less for, but I can assure you that no one I know would say, “Sure, let me pay full price, even though you advertise it as a reduced price and everyone else is paying that reduced price!” That sounds silly, doesn’t it? “Not only that, but please charge me $1.99 just for breathing on the kiosk!” As ridiculous as that sounds, then to have the manager pass the buck and blame the third party company???? The previous time we were in the restaurant, the waiter told us that it had been slower because of road construction. Well, I’ve got news for you. Maybe it’s slower because you are making a habit of screwing your customers? With the previous owner, none of this would have happened. Unfortunately, you are going downhill fast. The manager tried to make things better by giving us a certificate for two future meals, and I will use that. However, I can assure you that I will not step foot in your restaurant again. As the saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice,...
Read moreWaited 10 minutes for a table but waited a hour for the food to arrive after ordering. Wife got the veggie plate, kids had chicken tenders and french fries and I got the chicken fried steak. How does it take a hour for that? Not to mention the applesauce side my wife ordered had cheese shreds in it. The only good thing was the waiter. Even tho she forgot my wife's food when bringing out everything. I loved this restaurant but its going down hill fast. The time before this my daughter order the kids steak bites, they were so hard that I wouldn't feed them to a dog.
New update after another try.
Came her for dinner before going out for the rest of the night. Reserved a table for faster service and was seated almost immediately. Place our order and I ordered the NY steak strip. Our food comes out and two seconds after the waitress walks away the manager comes up and asks us how the food is. I just look at her and say it looks fine but you can clearly see I haven't even had a chance to look at it. Let alone eat it. So I start eating and firstly the amount of fat still on this thing was absurd. Then I get half way done with the thinner side of the steak and it was decent. I get to the thicker side and this thing was raw. Like hardly cooked on the inside if at all. I ordered medium. I stopped eating and went to the seasoned rice. Except it was just rice in the cup. There was a white substance in with it so I stopped eating that to. The only thing actually eatable was the mash potatoes which isn't saying much. So the waitress comes back and I inform her of all this and she asks if I want another steak and I say no because I have to be in home in 20 for the babysitter. Just take it off the bill. She even agrees she would eat this food in its current condition. She comes back 5 minutes later saying the manager will not come over and talk to me and that she took $5.00 off of my bill. What a joke. Then I'm sitting there and the couple behind us is telling me they have already sent their steak back 2 times from it being under cooked. Long story short, if you want to eat steak at a restaurant, do...
Read moreThe salmon I ordered on date night with my husband was raw. And I mean raw not just a little under cooked. Our server, was a real champ about it too she was awesome and this review is not due to her services. She was tipped well and hope we get her section again. However, Debbie, the manager! You need some training hun. Your cooks screwed up and I was super cool about it but when I reordered my dinner, I didn't expect the managers make it right would be to hover over me asking on a loop if this is cooked right until I final just cut into my burger to get rid of her. No apology for almost hospitalized a guest no kindness. Luckily her server knows how to do her Job well. These stars are for her and only her. Wish I could remember her name. After years in the industry I can only imagine what it's like working for this manager, most other people wouldn't have tipped her well bc of the mistakes of those around her, her manager should know better. Do better Debbie! It's not the customers issue if your cooks don't understand the dangers of undercooked food. I hope you learn from this experience. I could have been a horrible Karen type and made a scene or even snapped at you in the moment but I was kind and polite, and most of all respectful. You were not kind or polite you did not make it right you did not try to improve the situation at all, you treated me like I was trying to get a free meal out of you. Again my food was RAW seafood! I did not touch it or eat any of it. I'd be in a hospital if I did. You do not punish your customers for the mistakes of your...
