Terrible customer service! I usually go here all the time, but today I brought my 3 year old daughter here after gymnastics for our usual lunch date. She always orders the same thing...a side of white rice with cheese on top and usually gets a second bowl because sheâs really hungry. Today there was a new lady behind the counter. Iâm assuming the new manager. She told me I couldnât order a side of rice. I figured she was new, so I politely stated that we order one all the time. She then very rudely proceeded to tell me that itâs not the case anymore because itâs not on the âmenuâ. I said âok well then can my daughter get a kids meal with just white rice with cheese on topâ? She was again rude and corrected me saying â so a kids nacho with rice...and what elseâ? I said nothing because thatâs all she wants. Then when I ordered my food I asked to substitute chicken for rice. She was again very rude and told me that the soup didnât come that way and I would have to order a different item to substitute...a simple no would have been fine. There was absolutely no need for the rudeness. I didnât mind paying for a kids meal even though my daughter just wanted rice and I was never rude to her in anyway. Her demeanor was absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. I work with people all afternoon and even when people are rude to me I always treat them with respect and a smile...because A...I need to keep my job...and B...Iâm talking to another human being and just donât believe in being nasty to someone. I just want to say that I am very disappointed today. I hope the woman who is working today reads this. I want her to know that her poor attitude is not ok and that we are going leave here with my 3 year old still hungry. She asked me to buy her another bowl of rice because her âbelly is still hungryâ. I had to tell her no because we are not allowed to order just rice... I would have gladly paid for another one if it was âallowedâ. She barely eats anything and now my heart is breaking for her because she doesnât understand why I canât get her more. I have to take her to daycare now where she will be hungry because their lunch time is over. I now have to go to work for the rest of the night and provide excellent customer service to others. I donât think we will be back to this location. I have been to many different locations and never been treated so poorly. I can deal with rudeness and get over it, but the fact that my little girl was negatively...
Read moreThis location is awful. My first experience with Qdoba was at a different location less than a year ago. I was looking for a place to get gluten free food while out of town, and it was delicious. I was happy to find there was a location near family we visit often. The first time I ordered at this location, it was good. I ordered from the app and picked up inside. The second time I ordered, my daughter picked up the order that I had noted âGluten Free Precaautionsâ when ordering, and they told her they werenât sure what gluten free meant so they put all the dairy items on the side. Why didnât they just call me?! I really should have stopped going at that point... The next time we ordered, both of our bowls were made incorrectly. No big deal. It happens. Right? I always order from the app and pick up inside, and the first time we went there that was the only way you could order anyway. Then, one day I tried to order and couldnât, so I called the restaurant. They told me they were only taking orders in person. This past weekend we ordered from the app and when I got there all of the doors were locked. Eventually I found a sign on a window that said to call and they would bring out the order. When I called they said the order wasnât ready and it would be about 5 more minutes. 20 minutes later, and tons of people outside waiting (and complaining that the rules are different every time they come), and they finally brought out my order. Cold. Today, I ordered from the app and selected a pick up time. When we got there, the place was packed. They said the order wouldnât be ready for anotherj hour! Meanwhile people were coming in and ordering and getting their food while I still waited for mine that was pre-ordered on the app with a pickup time. This was happening to others as well. We got a refund and wonât be going back. Terrible service at...
Read moreThe service is just absurdly bad, as others have noted. Yes, we're in the midst of a pandemic, but this is the only place I have been to that seems incapable of getting it even close to adequate.
The sign on the door states that due to staffing issues, they must bring the food to your car, and that you must order online or via phone, then call when you arrive for it to be brought out. I'm not sure how having a person answering phone calls and running orders out to cars is a better use of the employees' time than simply having customers come in to grab their orders, like virtually every other similar place does without major issue, but what do I know?
Ordered via the app, was told to arrive 10 minutes later to pick up my order. I arrived about 10 minutes later and called, to be told that my order had "a couple orders in front of it" but would be out shortly, and they asked for the color and make of my car, which I provided. So far, so good, I don't mind waiting if it means my food will be fresh.
A full 25 minutes later, having watched 7 orders brought out to others, I finally received my order, which came without napkins nor a utensil to eat with.
The food was fine, but cold, which was surprising because after that wait I figured the silver lining would be that my order would be fresh. Not so much, apparently.
Like I said, I get that everything is more difficult in these trying times, but I don't understand how this particular restaurant seems uniquely-incapable of doing what countless other restaurants...
