First, let me preface this review with a compliment to our server/ waitress. Great super attentive, great attitude, all smiles, super cool.
Now, I have not been to Red Lobster in years. The food last night was reason enough to never go again. I ordered a strip steak and lobster tail with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She orderded endless shrimp. Typically I order steaks "blue", however this is a seafood place that I don't trust, so I got it medium. It came out rare, no biggie, I prefer rare, maybe something good will happen. Nothing good happened. First, let me guide you through the flavor of the steak. Ever been to Chuck E Cheeses? That pizza, is the EXACT same flavor, end of tour, that was it. It was hard to be mad about the flavor though because it took me back to when my girls were younger.... Quandry... The lobster was fine aside from being a bit tough. The potatoes were the same as every other sit down place. The broccoli was dried out, not cool at all. My wife's shrimp was "ok", and she enjoyed the different choices of flavors. But definitely over sodiumed on both our parts. Then I go to the restroom to wash up. A long time ago someone told me to look at the bathroom first, because it reflects the kitchen... Wow. Rough. I have more pics of it but this should tell enough of a story. There was a manager and several employees complaining about another employee almost the entire time we sat there. At one point one of those employees walked by our table with a trash bag full of garbage with the bottom at table height. Seriously. Now, when I go to any restaurant, I am judging, but this was just bad. All the way around.
Overall, there is zero chance I will go back. I do hope to see the server again elsewhere though, she was on her game and made what would have been a terrible...
Read moreI went to Red Lobster to celebrate my 30th Birthday with my parents and husband on 03/16/24 and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I have never had a bad experience there, so I was pretty shocked. The waiter asked if we wanted the biscuits and we never got any to begin with, but all the other tables that came after us had gotten their as before they even got their drinks. We had to ask the waiter several times for biscuits, crab crackers, sweetener, and even water! I also went out to my car just to get a drink. I felt like she paid more attention to all of the other tables more because we were the only white table in her section at the time to be honest. Every time we asked for something she said "sure" and we could see her rolling her eyes as she walked away, and then it was like she would disappear and we wouldn't see her for a while. My husband even stopped eating because he ran out of dipping sauce, and didn't even want to bother asking for more. I just felt like she catered to all the other tables and just walked by ours and didn't even check on us. It was as if I had to raise my hand just to get what we needed. I get she may have had an off day, but I have worked in the food industry for many years, so I know that I would never let it show to a paying customer. Especially considering our bill was over $200 and we were there for 2+ hours (not by choice). I have never been more disappointed with our experience, and regret going their for my...
Read moreOur visit to Red Lobster was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We went to celebrate our in-laws’ Anniversary and were looking for a memorable experience, but the experience was nothing short of infuriating. To begin with, our orders were mixed up, leaving us frustrated and confused. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you don’t even receive what you ordered.
As if that wasn’t enough, the drinks, Long Island Ice tea and Grand Patron Margarita, were a total letdown—so watered down they were practically tasteless. We were looking forward to enjoying a refreshing drink, but what we got was far from it.
The biggest disappointment, though, was the grilled lobster. It was a complete travesty—overcooked to the point of being like rubber, totally ruining what should have been the highlight of the meal. For a place that prides itself on seafood, this was utterly unacceptable. The only saving grace was the lobster dip and the stuffed flounder, though the first time they brought it out, it had a piece of plastic sticker on it, they replaced the dish though, but by that time , all the others were done with dinner.
We left the restaurant angry and incredibly disappointed. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had, and we won’t be...
