Update: I had lunch at Smitty's today and tried the blackened chicken sandwich. My husband ordered his favorite, the brisket sandwich. They were both divine. We shared the sandwiches and they were sooo delicious that we had a hard time deciding which we liked best, but I think the blackened chicken won. The blackened chicken was a generous portion, not too spicy...just right...and the brisket was piled high and delicious. The fries were perfect and the slaw was creamy and so good. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. They smoke their own brisket and they even make their own dipping sauces and they were really good. Now I have an even bigger dilemma choosing what I want to order. But I would say that is a good dilemma. You have you try Smitty's to appreciate my comments. I hope you love it as much as we do.

Smitty's has great food. I have not been disappointed in anything I have eaten there. Their burgers and fries are the best as is the fried chicken and brisket. You will not be disappointed and the portion sizes are generous.

We recently tried Smittys on a Friday for their catfish dinner. The catfish was very good so we returned this following Friday. The catfish was not cooked completely since it was firm, nonflaky and tough in the center part of the catfish filet. We told the waitress who stated she would get another. I waited for such a long time and my husband had finished his dinner sometime earlier. She finally returned after many attempts to get her attention to just get our ticket since we had waited so long. She left us a Styrofoam container with a catfish in it. We got home and not surprisingly it was inedible... It was disgusting. The waitress and this establishment apparently did not learn how to treat customers when they serve food that is not cooked throughly enough to be safe and edible. My husband in paying our bill also appropriately tipped this waitress before we realized the replacement of the catfish in the styrofoam was also inedible. They should learn that treating customers the way they would like to be treated would make more...

Smitty’s is a true hidden gem! I was visiting from out of town and decided to give it a try based on the great reviews and it did not disappoint! I had the spicy buffalo chicken sandwich. My boyfriend and I agreed, It was easily the best chicken sandwich we’ve ever tasted. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was juicy, not dry. The buffalo sauce had just the right kick, and the combination of pickles and ranch made every bite delicious. We also tried the bacon burger, and I don’t know what magical cheese they used, but it was incredible. The French fries were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch and great flavor, making them a perfect side. On top of the amazing food, the service was attentive and kind, making the whole experience feel special. Overall, Smitty’s delivered probably the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had....
