Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - here are the items we got: Braised pork rice, Pork leek bun, Mapo tofu bun, Egg custard bun, and Tea egg. Eat the buns while they're still hot! The buns are so soft, fluffy, and moist that you can just eat the buns by itself without any fillings. It has a bit of sweetness that complements the savory fillings so well. The mapo tofu has a slight kick and sourness that is so reminiscent of the actual dish. The braised pork rice is so simple but packed with flavor that makes you crave the next bite. We got raw garlic on it and the slight sharpness adds a brightness to the dish. The tea egg is marinated nicely but a little on the saltier side. The egg custard bun has such interesting seasoning and was sweet without getting too overwhelming. This is the BEST egg custard bun I ever had Ambience: N/A - it's a little hut in the parking lot that you order from. Service: 5/5 - cashier was very friendly and happy to explain the menu and provide recommendations. It was a cold day out so he told us to wait in the car and delivered the food to us. Since we were eating in the parking lot, he came to check on us to make sure we enjoyed the food :)) Value for price: 5/5 - smaller servings but the food is so good that it's worth the premium. Would have never imagined that the best Taiwanese food would be in windy Wyoming

Google reviews needs an extra button, a vote option to add an extra star when a place is just out of this world on all markers. First, it's that out only, so you don't really expect service. Expect or not, this place delivers it. They went above and beyond, thoughtfully and carefully helping me decide what to try for my first taste of Taiwanese food. Then, since I ate in my car, they came out to see how I liked everything and offered to make me something else if I wasn't happy! The food was so good I hurt myself eating way too much. I cannot even begin to tell you how delicious and indescribably flavorful and fresh this food was!!! And last, I ended up with enough food for SIX meals for like $30. That's just insane. The last picture is my leftovers after stuffing myself, and it made lunches for 5 days, with me adding some frozen mango to 3 of the trays. If I'd spent $5 more for a second "small" rice, I'd have not even needed that. Go. Go today. You will not regret it.

Had a wonderful first experience with Destination Taiwan! Seeing the reviews on Google made us want to drive up to Cheyenne and give it a try. So glad we did! The customer service was amazing! Not only did they help us with placing our order, so did the customers standing in line behind us who were obvious repeat customers. Always a good sign when you have customers behind you excited to order right behind you. The chef made sure to explain the food and tell us how to best enjoy it. Their attention to detail was much appreciated. Can't wait to go back! Enjoy! We ordered: Taiwan braised pork rice (my favorite) Scallion chicken noodle Green onion flatbread Steamed buns - barbecue, sweet red bean, black sesame, purple taro, and egg custard Tea egg

Nestled in the heart of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Destination Taiwan is a charming tiny hut that packs a big punch when it comes to Taiwanese cuisine. Despite its modest exterior and lack of indoor seating, this little gem is a true culinary treasure.

The authenticity of the food is unmatched, making it stand out as the best Taiwanese food I've ever had, even rivaling dishes I've enjoyed in Taiwan itself. Every bite is a flavorful tribute to the rich culinary heritage of Taiwan, prepared with care and skill that truly captures the essence of the cuisine.

What truly sets Destination Taiwan apart is the incredible service and friendliness of the staff. In this case, the dynamic duo behind the scenes is none other than the owner, a Taiwanese native, and his daughter. Their hospitality is as warm as the flavors they serve, going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels like a welcomed friend.

The owner's passion for sharing Taiwanese cuisine shines through in every dish, reflecting years of dedication and love for the flavors of his homeland. This passion is infectious, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that makes dining at Destination Taiwan a truly memorable experience.

The vibe of this small hut is cozy and intimate, creating a sense of community that adds to the overall charm of the dining experience. Despite its size, Destination Taiwan exudes a sense of authenticity and tradition that transports diners to the bustling streets of Taipei.

During my extended stay in Cheyenne, Destination Taiwan became a weekly ritual for me. I found myself drawn back time and time again, not just for the incredible food, but for the sense of connection and warmth that the owner and his daughter provided.

While it may be a small hut, but it is a powerhouse of Taiwanese flavor, hospitality and will provide the best food you can find for hundreds (if not thousands) of miles . The authenticity of the food, the exceptional service from the owner and his daughter, their unwavering passion for their craft, and the cozy vibe all come together to create a dining experience that is truly special. If you find yourself in Cheyenne, don't miss the opportunity to visit Destination Taiwan – it's a culinary journey that you'll want to embark on...

Grew up on Chinese cuisine. From Los Angeles and seattle. I thought I knew things..

First time here, based on google reviews, during road trip. One word—INSPIRED.. I was there four days ago and it haunts me everyday at every meal time.. I wish I could live there.. but I’m in Arkansas now.. thank you staff of destination Taiwan—you’ve refreshed my outlook on good food and world class service. Truly. As Arnold says, “I’ll be back..!” And hopefully with an even bigger order and a bigger tip. (Remember me? I was there with my lady friend. And I had a big order. And I shook your hand, Yue. And I couldn’t stop thanking you guys..) bless this place and it’s people. You’re doing wonderful things.

I ordered/ate the scallion pancake, red bean pancake, just about each kind of bao (seriously), Taiwanese jiajiangmien, sesame cold noodle.. it was a big order because dad said to get a lot.. apparently it wasn’t enough, as I mention! Lol.. each dish and bao were uniquely delicious!!! What?? Yes. Now THAT’s excellent cuisine.. the black bean noodle (jiajiang) blew me away because I grew up on that dish, and yet this one tasted way more authentic than any in the past.. the purple taro is drool worthy.. it was just right.. all of it.. I don’t need water because tears of joy as I eat. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Desination Taiwan offers an exceptional experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Delicious food, amazing service, unbeatable prices. I called in my large order (a sampling of all of the steamed buns) and the friendly staff patiently guided me through the descriptions of their offerings. Upon arriving 15 minutes early to the adorable location, I was joyously greeted by the staff who offered me a pommegranite green tea while I waited. The lovely people of Destination Taiwan were so generous, giving me several free samples - wow the banana torta is amazing. Now to the Buns... Oh. My. Goodness. These are the best buns I have ever had in the U.S. they are soft and fluffy on the outside and deliciously flavoured on the inside. The filling stayed perfectly in place with no leakage. It's really hard to choose, but my favourite of the savoury options is a tie between the Tofu and the Chinese Spinach... and the cabbage 😅 seriously, they are all so good! The Tofu option tastes just like pork but much healthier -- a little sweet, a little spicy, BIG flavour! The Spinach is more subtle and refreshing. The cabbage reminds me of spring roll filling inside a fluffy steamed bun. The sweet options were all equally amazing. If you are looking for something really special, try the Taro and the Black Sesame 💖 I also tried the Taro Milk with added boba. It is utterly divine. Not too sweet, but creamy and filling. The passion fruit lychee drink was delightful, too. Thanl you so much Destination Taiwan, I can't wait to come back!! This...
