Asada Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chicago

A corporate event on Eid Celebration was organized on 04/08/2025 in Motorola Mobility's office in Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Asada Mexican Grill served fresh & hot lunch to 170 guests on the spot. They brought their portable cooking stations to serve the food warm. Fish/chicken/steak Taco & Steak/Chicken/Veggie Bowl were served. Each and every guest highly appreciated the quality of food. Each plate was stuffed with plenty of fish or meat irrespective of the bowl or taco. A team of fout from Asada Grill served the food quite efficiently within a span of 1 hours to all 170 guests without causing too long of a line or any excessive delay.

We, the organizers, were extremely happy with the reasonable rate of the food and the quality of the service. Mr. Sharif, the owner of Asada Grill, was supervising the entire process by himself. I would strongly recommend everyone to cater Asada Mexican Grill's delicious menu in your next event, whether it's a corporate event or an in-house get together. Give them an opportunity at least once to host a successful event. I can guarantee your guests would love their excellent food and even better service. We had a reunion event of Alumni on 11/11/2023 in a banquet hall in the Chicago suburbs. Asada Mexican Grill served fresh & hot lunch to 220 guests on the spot. They brought their portable cooking stations to serve the food warm. Fish/meat Taco & Steak/Chicken Bowl were served. Each and every guest highly appreciated both the quality and the quantity of food. Each plate was stuffed with plenty of fish or meat irrespective of the bowl or taco. A team of five from Asada grill served the food quite efficiently within a span of 45 minutes to all 220 guests without causing a long line or any delay.

Great service. I ordered the tacos and I asked for 3 different ones in a combo (fish, chicken and shrimp) costed me $13. I got the same ordered and the tacos were fully loaded. But taste wasn't great, balance of spices ummm no no... It was almost bland because the veggies were not dressed. The meat tried separately were okay. Fish was old but well cooked and evenly coated. Chicken was okay too and shrimp needed salt.

The atmosphere is good but it is right next to the metro station and the noise takes the fun away. I would say affordable food at a noisy location but Chipotle over Asada anyday. The boy behind the counter gave me extra bag of chips (which was crispy and freshly fried... So loved it). And he also gave me a small batch of the chicken tortilla soup because I asked if he liked it. I'm a picky...
