Close your eyes, inhale the aroma, and sip the coffee, and I guarantee it will make your day. Great coffeeshop serving micro-roasted coffee en premise. If you’re picky about your coffee and you’re in downtown Chicago you must stop by this place. They serve many kinds of coffee drinks, including pour over drip coffee. They’re using a robot for making the pour over, which you can see in the video I uploaded. TLDR: great coffee, single origin light roast; espresso, nice place for work or meeting people

Great shop with high quality beans, perfectly made pour over perfection, a clean aesthetic, nice baristas, and strong Chicago pride. I had a delicious pour over, which they push as their speciality (get one, it's totally worth it!) and brought home 2lbs of whole bean for the month. They both had a roast date within the last 3 days, so very happy to have fresh single origin beans at a good price (<$15/lb). I'll definitely be back many times.

Very friendly service. I chose the drip coffee which was self pour from the pot which was a nice touch. All creamer and amenities were provided too. Had the option to sit in with plenty of tables and a nice atmosphere with some gentle music on in the background but I chose to sit outside at a table with the view of the subway and passing trains - great if you’re new to Chicago!

Highly suggest Big Shoulders for anyone looking for good coffee in the city!

Great atmosphere between the music, the decorations, and especially the baristas! Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful!

Great place for people to get a great cup of coffee whether you’re a casual enjoyer or an enjoyer of high quality coffee! Got a cortado and a cappuccino and were both great and high quality, along with getting to try a bit of a pour over which was super smooth and delicious!

Great coffee shop on lake Street between Wells and Franklin. Ive only had their nitro cold brew and regular black coffee and I'm a fan of both. This is definitely my preferred cup of coffee in the loop.

Also one day I made the walk all the way there to only realize I had left my wallet at work. Of course I'm super embarrassed and I tell the counter staff I'll need to run to the office real quick but instead the young lady said coffee is on the house,...
