I can’t say enough great things about Bronzeville Hoagie and Panini Cafe! From the moment we walked in, the experience was amazing. I ordered The 35th Street Hoagie and wow the sauce alone is enough to keep me coming back. It adds this incredible burst of flavor that ties the whole sandwich together perfectly. The turkey was fresh and flavorful, and you can just tell the ingredients are top-quality and super fresh. My husband went with the corned beef hoagie and he couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. But the real showstopper? The Yasmin Wagyu Italian Beef Special (dipped in giardiniera). Between him and his grandmother, who are both serious Italian beef lovers, they said it's hands down the best Italian beef they've ever had. Tender, juicy, flavorful it checked every box. If you’re in the area (or even if you’re not), this place is absolutely worth the trip. Great food, fresh ingredients, and a true love for flavor in every bite! Also, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and I wish her continued success.

I was hoping to be blown away. I ordered 2 sandwiches( turkey hoagie and a corned beef). The bread on the turkey hoagie was not very tasty or freshest, a bit hard in areas. The vinegar had a bit of an odd flavor, too strong and I love vinger. The turkey was just ok, nothing noteworthy. 6 inches, not enough when you have a huge appetite, a 10 inch wd be better for the price. The corned beef had no, no flavor whatsoever. If I were blindfolded, it wd be hard to distinguish the flavor of fresh corned beef. The meat was more like a deli slice. Not fresh brisket. Sliced too thick(for me), I don't like the feeling of thick sliced meat. Same issue, bread not the best quality like Turrano. If I'm in the area, I may sit in and try a Panini next time. I won't circle back for the hoagie or corned beef. I hope the hot sandwiches are better. For the price I paid for 2 sandwiches, it was not worth the money spent.

I am following up on my review below. I wrote a similar review on Bronzeville Hoagie & Panini Cafe’s instagram because they posted a video of the sandwich I purchased. The sandwich I received was nothing like the video. Thank goodness I took screenshots between my interaction with the owner. Please see in the screenshots here what I stated and the response. Now they have blocked me from their page. I was not being disrespectful but holding them accountable for the food that they present online and the food people receive. Initial review below: I wish I had a better review but I do not. I had high hopes for this restaurant but it turns out that the paninis are not good. I had the turkey and it was a simple sandwich I could have made at home. Nothing special for $13. My partner had the salmon panini and he said it didn’t taste like salmon. He refused to eat it. The panini was $14. I will not be back.

As a family who appreciates good food, stumbling upon this shop was nothing short of a delightful surprise. We heard about this spot through social media and decided to check it out. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff's passion for their craft was palpable, and it reflected in every bite of the hoagies and paninis we had. The turkey panini, which me and my husband shared was particularly delicious. The menu boasts a variety of options to satisfy multiple cravings and palettes. The panini we had was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that took our dining experience to a another level. What truly sets Bronzeville Hoagie and Panini apart is the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. Even though it took awhile for us to get our food, we knew the staff were putting care into it and the food reflected that. From the perfectly toasted bread to the generous portions of fillings, it's evident that every sandwich is meticulously crafted and made. Also the sides were amazing. I will definitely be back for the turkey chili. Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. It's clear that this family-run establishment takes pride in delivering not just a meal, but making sure the customers are completely taken care of. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be...

This was our first and only time at this place. Open since 2023 you think they would do better. I ordered two Italian beef combo's no peppers, dipped the cashier even asked me if I wanted them dipped and I said yes"real good" after an at least twenty minutes wait we got our order. Got to the car and it wasn't even close to being an Italian beef combo, the sausage.wasnt and Italian sausage it was a.spicy polish. No fries but a bag of chips. 20.00 plus they were barely even wet,the polish was cooked on the flat grill or stove, the beef was really just plain Maybe it's still open because some.folk.like this kinda service but if your.a.hoagy.place.stay a hoagy place don't move into doin combo's cause there are gas stations that do better( 87th right off western, plus they have real Italian sausage on em) it was my first time there but it's my last. Did I like this very expensive sandwich? It's in my freezer and when I want it I'll saute some bell peppers and onions and at least make it look like a reasonable Combo I give this...
