Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chicago

I was so excited to finally have a chipotle close to home… but they suck at online orders. I ordered a bowl and they gave me the wrong type of beans and then they added fajitas which weren’t even listed on my order. Like the beans I get it okay whatever but they added an additional thing that I did not want and I had to go and pick it out of my bowl. The order also wasn’t ready on time. I reached out to customer service to atleast get a refund but all they did was add a free drink to my “wallet”. Like ummmm I guess….chipotle is not that cheap so I expect to get what I ordered and if I didn’t at least make up for it. I love chipotle regardless but it just sucks that I didn’t get to enjoy my bowl the way I wanted it made. I just won’t be ordering online anymore… just go in person and watch them make...

I came to leave a good review and was dumbfounded when I saw a bunch of reviews talking about small portions like if it’s the worker's or even managers' fault when that’s direct orders from the higher-ups, but no one seems to be emailing or messaging them and like to comment on some kid just trying to do their job 🤔 most chipotles I’ve been too I’ve seen only 1 cooker that would be responsible for cooking everything and I came to realize that if chipotle gave out double on the norm they would run out of food especially if people pile on double scoops of beans, rice, etc. with that out of the way, food was well better than most chipotles I’ve been too, service was fast and professional, and atmosphere was cool as well with the outdoor seating. Despite its 2-star average, this Chipotle location shines for takeout customers. While delivery issues may contribute to negative reviews, the in-person experience is exceptional. Upon entering, a panhandler at the door was a minor inconvenience, but the staff quickly turned things around with warm, welcoming service. The team prepared a steak burrito bowl with accurate portions and excellent flavor, and the cashier was courteous and efficient.
