I recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredibly tasty restaurant for a very special occasion - my girlfriend's 21st birthday. From the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the aroma of delicious food wafted through the air. It was clear that this was going to be a dining experience to remember.
I started off by ordering a 10oz medium well steak, which was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and full of flavor, with a nice char on the outside that added a great depth of taste. It was definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had. Along with the steak, I also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was loaded with crispy, juicy chicken that was cooked to perfection. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the toppings were fresh and added great flavor to the sandwich.
To complement my meal, I also ordered some drinks on the side. The drinks were expertly prepared and were the perfect complement to my meal.
My beautiful girlfriend was also thrilled with her meal, and it was clear that the restaurant had exceeded her expectations. We both left feeling incredibly satisfied and happy.
The service at the restaurant was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure that we were happy with our meals and that everything was to our liking. The wait staff even helped to make my girlfriend's birthday extra special by bringing her a complimentary dessert with a candle.
Overall, my dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. On top of that, the restaurant made my girlfriend's...
Read moreJust had the legit worst hospitality experience maybe of my life. Come in late almost by closing, sit at the bar after the hostess tells me kitchen is still open. Bartender ignores me. I have to flag her down. I asked her if I can get a food menu she says kitchen is closed. I said hostess said it was open. She says it closes in three minutes. I say well can I order before they close she says do you know what you want? I said it would be nice if you gave me a menu so I could pick.
I put my order in and then ask if I could get a drink and a glass of water and she says that she can’t put drink orders in after kitchen closes. would’ve been nice to know.
So she talks to the manager and says she made a special request so I can get a drink! great. After making me feel totally unhospitable after all that they forget the fully loaded baked potato that comes with my meal didn’t realize till after I left, but got tf out because the vibe was so bad…
Maybe my standards are too high coming from NYC expecting people to be competent and professional. Manager was trying to be nice. Maybe Chicago hospitality is just lower tier. At this point, I have pretty low expectations for a city where everything closes at 10, but I’ve had much better throughout Chicago.
But the worst thing you ever wanna feel when you’re going out to dine is that you are unwanted somewhere you are spending money. especially after having a rough day. I give the hospitality one star. And also food quality gets 2 stars. They forgot an item of mine and for what it’s worth I got the filet mignon medium cut into it and it was well done onhalf the steak....
Read moreDoc B’s Restaurant delivered an unforgettable experience with their standout offering, The Number Six. This isn’t just a sandwich—it’s a culinary statement. Featuring a hefty piece of Cajun buttermilk fried chicken, the sandwich is a harmonious marriage of crispiness and juicy tenderness. Each bite brings a delightful crunch, followed by the bold, seasoned heat of Cajun spices that awaken the taste buds.
Two simple yet effective pickle slices rest atop the chicken, providing a tangy punch that cuts through the richness. But what truly elevates this sandwich are the sauces. The roasted garlic dressing is silky and indulgent, its creamy texture laced with aromatic depth. It pairs beautifully with the fiery habanero-honey sauce, which adds just the right kick of heat balanced with a touch of sweetness. The interplay between the cool garlic and the spicy-sweet honey is a revelation, ensuring that each bite feels fresh and exciting.
The sandwich is generously portioned, making it a beast of a meal that satisfies both hunger and flavor cravings. It’s the perfect companion for a day when you want to treat yourself to something indulgent yet thoughtfully crafted.
Whether you're a fried chicken connoisseur or just someone seeking a robust, flavor-packed meal, The Number Six is a must-try. Doc B’s nailed the art of elevating comfort food with this creation, and I’ll undoubtedly be back for...
