Potential shareholders and freelancers, beware. This purportedly progressive, women-led company is nothing more than a facade for virtue signaling and workplace exploitation.

After fulfilling a contract that spanned over five days, I encountered their abysmal communication, erratic behavior, and outright unprofessionalism. They disappeared without a trace for days, only to reappear attempting to renegotiate pre-established terms. I had to completely upend my own schedule to accommodate their delays, which demonstrates a total lack of respect for my time and commitments.

Now, they are refusing to honor the original $4,000+ agreement and are denying the approval of work they explicitly greenlit. The women running this company seem less interested in operating a legitimate business and more focused on posing as faux social media influencers, flaunting their supposed lifestyle on various vacations and retreats, presumably funded by their business's dime, for their meager following.

Such conduct is unacceptable and indicative of deeper systemic issues within this organization.

Awful experience this morning. My scheduled order was missing 2 items. No one else was in line, I was the only one! After waiting close to 20 minutes, I was given the wrong items! I was given one of two eggs, and to top it off, my raw detox salad was missing the curried tahini chickpeas. I asked for the sauce, and was told by manager who was standing nearby that the curried tahini chickpeas are no longer on the detox salad, and no longer on the menu! He said the menu was updated, verbatim. I checked online and the menu still shows the curried tahini chickpeas, and I saw the raw detox salad at my local Lincoln park Dom’s on Sunday morning, curried tahini chickpeas and all, so I am really confused. I asked to please cancel the order and was told twice to do it on the app. There is nowhere to do that! Finally was able to have it cancelled, after feeling so disappointed. I ordered on Friday too, and my eggs were missing the super seed sprinkle. This was my first time visiting FARE and unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered the PINK smoothie, which is basically, strawberries, banana, pineapple, and protein powder. I requested that the protein powder is replaced with avocado. The first drink tasted like watered down pineapple. There was no color difference that suggested she used avocado. I know that there should be a difference in color because I make smoothies with those same ingredients all the time. Never does it taste watered down. I requested a refund, she offered to remake it, so I said ok. She remade the smoothie and it tasted exactly the same. I kept it out of courtesy but did not even finish 1/3 of the drink before throwing it away. I also ordered the avocado toast with bacon. When I got to my desk, the bacon was translucent, basically, not cooked all the way. Which meant that I had to throw the sandwich away. Overall, the look of the restaurant is nice, but I paid $25 for uncooked food and a bland drink....
