Jimmy's Gyros & Grill — Restaurant in Chicago

So for starters I was hungry as always. I love Greek food and gyros. Don't know why I didn't get the Baklava too. Anyway ., I was greeted by Lamon the nice gentlemen with the infectious smile. I asked him could I have the take out menu that was on the counter up front. He replied yes I was contemplating the feta fries along with my Gyros Sandwich Special. So the owner saw that I was being indecisive of my meal. He upselled me on making my order so I can have the BEST OF BOTH WORLD'S. Me getting my feta fries too, large order. So we did it. Eduardo placed my order. My gyros special with my supersize yummy FETA 🍟 DELICIOUS AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE I MAXED MY GYROS SPECIAL WITH DRINK LEMONADE. THE OWNER ALSO HAD AN Infectious SMILE. JIMMY WAS NICE TOO AND SO WAS LAMON AND EDUARDO . SO ME BEING STYLISHED AS I AM, WAS ROCKING MY ONE LOVE BOB MARLEY HAT . IF I CAN RECALL OCIEL CAME OUT AND TOLD ME HE LIKED MY HAT AND TOLD ME HIS BUDDY MAKES T-SHIRTS . ONE LOVE GOLD TSHIRT WITH THE ARTIST NAME ON IT. HE WROTE EMAIL DOWN FOR ME BRIEFLY AS HE HAD TO GET BACK TO WORK . SO OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT AND I LOVE THE VIBE. THE ICING ON THE CAKE WAS ME ASKING THE OWNER HOW TO SAY IM HUNGRY IN GREEK AND THANK YOU. If you are looking for a cheap but delicious meal in the area, then this is the perfect place. This small spot in the middle of the busy area is a must. It was not my first time to this spot, and in fact, I've already been here a lot of times just because their food is really great, as well as the prices, and, of course, the customer service. It is literally a cute spot where you would walk in and you would go straight to the counter. There are no tables inside, but there is actually a table on both sides of the place and just a few seats. Even with this, the place was clean, like the whole place was clean, which I think is more important than it being small. They have a variety of options on their menu, and a few of my favorites are definitely their burgers and hot dogs. I ordered their Chicago style hot dogs and fries. The service was quick. The food is also fresh and hot considering that it is made to order. One of my favorites is their Chicago-style hot dogs because they taste really delicious and authentic at the same time. The fries are also crispy, and they are seasoned perfectly with salt. I just really like to stop in here whenever I have the chance because it is a really good spot with delicious and affordable...

The chicken pita at this small restaurant in the Loop was really good and definitely one of a kind. I stumbled on this spot, and seriously, I did not expect that much from them, and all I wanted at that time was good food in a quick way. I went to the perfect spot because the food was really delicious, particularly the chicken pita I ordered, and the service was fast enough that I was able to get my order after a few minutes. Aside from that, the service is also nice and friendly. The chicken pita comes with a generous portion of chicken. The chicken was really seasoned well and had the perfect texture along with the pita. The price is fair and reasonable, and I honestly ended up buying another one that I bought for takeout. Even if it is lukewarm and I just re-heated it, it still tastes like the same delicious chicken pita I had right there in that spot. I really like their chicken pita and I am also curious about what else they can offer, so I must probably go back again. I will also definitely recommend it to my family and friends because the spot deserves it and my family and friends also deserve to know about this amazing spot I discovered...
