My advice is do not pick this place to do any custom orders esp gender reveal cupcakes. I put in a custom order, spent over $180 for cupcakes that was supposed to have a hidden colored frosting inside one of the cupcakes. Well, these are what the cupcakes looked like. Do you see why we would have a problem with them? They were supposed to be neutral, not knowing what the gender was until you took a bite out of one of them. But it's pretty obvious they look like "boy" cupcakes. We had to go buy pink frosting and modify the cupcakes before the rest of the guests arrived. But that was after we saw the cupcakes, including the mom to be. They also looked so sloppy too. I was SO disappointed in them. The only thing that looked great were the choc covered pretzels & rice krispies, hence the extra star.

**Update, there is none. No apology, no attempt of any rectification....

I was meeting my boyfriend’s father and sister for dinner for the first time and wanted to bring a special gift for them. Now that might seem like a bit much but listen, I’ve been single for a good 10 years so the fact that I get to experience a ā€œmeet the familyā€ moment is kinda HUGE! I plan to soak up every moment.

I was desperate to find something and was heading to CVS for a box of chocolates when I saw SmallCakes’ shining bright pink polka dot sign calling my name. So grateful for this adorable bakery! The selection of cupcakes were so inspiring, I almost couldn’t decide! The owner, Gerri, was so warm and sweet and told me her cupcakes are baked fresh every morning with love!

In the end, the cupcakes were a hit and I earned some major girlfriend points. Thank goodness for SmallCakes!

I’m going to have to visit again so that I can treat myself to a...

What can I say about this place but these are by far the tastiest cupcakes I’ve ever eaten. I first learned of this place in September when my daughters friend brought them for her housewarming party. I was so into them that I recommended my supervisor get them for a coworker’s baby shower.

They were ordered and we’re supposed to be delivered at 8:00am but did not arrive until hours later. That was too late to surprise our coworker. I understand things happen but Jazz Colons attitude was less than favorable. It was like she could care less that our order was late. This was disappointing especially after we spent over $150 on cupcakes. The cupcakes did arrive around 10:00 and were delicious and were enjoyed by everyone. I will definitely order from them again but will probably avoid the River...

This is a cute little cupcake and cookie bakery. The frosting is nice and fluffy and the cake lightly moist. Neither heavy at all. It almost feels like you didn't eat one after you did. They are on the pricey side ($5 each) but worth it as a special treat. The staff is usually quite friendly and talkative, though there is a nice one that is on the quiet side. There is a counter where you can sit down and eat but it has more of a take-out vibe. The decor is cute and clean. Very limited drink selection so buy and take it to the nearest cafe.
