YOUR CAR WILL NOT BE SAFE I am a monthly parker in this garage. I have had little to no problems up until a few days ago. However, the garage is habitually dirty. They have closed the garage for repairs but, I’m not sure what they are doing. However a few days ago my car was broken into. The windows smashed and car ransacked. They notified me that the rear window was smashed via e-mail. The parking garage manager did file an incident report and says that off-duty police officers patrol the garages. I’m not sure how true that is seeing that multiple cars in the garage were broken into on multiple floors. What do they do all day/night? Sit in one spot?
Lastly, I have emailed asking about video footage etc of the incident for insurance purposes. I haven’t received a response. I even asked my leasing office to reach out to the manager. No response still.I INQUIRED ABOUT A CREDIT AND/OR REFUND AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ONE OF ANY KIND EVEN IF YOU ARE GUARANTEED PARKER EACH MONTH. I COULD UNDERSTAND IF I PARKED ON OCCASSION. HOWEVER, I'M GIVING YOU MY MONEY EVERY MONTH AND YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT MY CAR BEING DAMAGED?????? Don’t bother parking here unless you are okay with the risk of your car being broken into and IParkit will not care because they already have your money. My car has scratches and the mirror was popped out also. My rear and front driver windows were all smashed. I have reached out multiple...
Read moreworst experience ever!!! i had reserved a parking garage in spot hero before hand for $17. went in this parking garage it was the wrong one therefore i told the intercom this since we couldn’t go in. the lady told us that she would open the gate for us & we could leave without any additional charges to just scan the barcode again (we figured she made from changes on her end) we believed this and went ahead. when the time came to leave they would not let us. we waited 30 mins for the manager to come out for him to be passive aggressive right away. we told him what his employee told us and responded instantly saying that there was no way that was true. that he would not let us leave without paying the $60. asked him to pull up the recorded phone calls and refused saying he would not do that bc he knew his employees would never say that when they did. saying we had an attitude when he immediately accused us of lying? we would have just drove back if the lady didn’t assure us that there wasn’t a problem parking there. this place should find better managers or work on their employees. we just ended up paying bc he was firm on not letting us leave and was raising his voice we didn’t want any problems. overall manage was rude, passive aggressive, and seems to hate his job. don’t give ur money to this...
Read moreUsed the parking lot on Friday after Thanksgiving 2024 for a little over 2 hrs. Charge: $57 !!! - see attached photos. The price is so steep, that it should be illegal. You think that parking your car for two 2-3 hours would be relatively expensive - and I agree - but not 3x of the daily rate! (3x$19=$57)
In one of the Google review responses, iPark states that their rates are available at each entrance (see photo) - no, they are not. No hourly rates are available at 217 W Washington (see photo taken an hours ago - I work next building). The entrance sign is misleading.
I will file a complaint with Chicago Department of Finance and with the Office of Inspector General for unethical practice.
Doing a cc stop payment is an...
