This is my first time at Protein Bar in Chicago, and I absolutely love it. I was greeted by a couple staff members who were friendly and welcoming. I tried the Kale Cesar Salad and wow was it packed with flavor! Ingredients were fresh and the flavors were outstanding. Chicken was nice and warm and the avocado was perfect. Packing a whole 38 grams of protein. The atmosphere was modern looking and very clean place. Bathrooms were also very clean. It offers outdoor seating to enjoy the downtown Chicago life on a nice day. I recommend others to check this place out as I am definitely coming back in the future!

I got the Mexicali Bowl with quinoa and a Pink Dragon protein smoothie. The bowl tasted extremely fresh. The sauce was a little spicy, but not overpowering. Enough to make your nose run a little, but not enough to kill your mouth. I substituted the smoothie protein with a plant based protein. It did have a slight chalky taste, but anyone who drinks plant based protein knows they all have a similar flavor. It wasn’t overly sweet, but you did get hints of berry and vanilla. I enjoyed everything I got and will be back.

9/13 @ 2:55. I work a block down. Wanted a quick bite orderded Mexacali. Was really delicious. The only thing that turned me off was the cashier Sedgewick I believe that was his name was. Didnt ask can I help you or what I can get for you for that matter. So If igure I just start ordering. Asked if they accepted apple pay. Sedgwick did not answer So I asked again and he finally responded yes. I asked a young lady for his name she provided it guess he heard he came to the front and he started laughing for no apparaent reason. As I was walking out he was making comments and laughing with the other employees. Found...
