Walked in, nobody looked at us even though it was empty and there was 4 folks working, plus a manager. Finally manager orders one guy to do our orders, and this dude is higher than a kid at a concert. Moving slow as a turtle. He looks to the person BEHIND us and asks her for her order, like why do you think we are standing here?? But ok whatever she tells him we were here first.
Tell him our order and another guy comes up and does the other customers order. The other customers order is done super speedy and looks well portioned. The guy doing ours had to read the sheet for every item that needed to be added, which is fine maybe he's new... But the food was clearly old and had been sitting, and there was barely enough to put into our plates. I only ordered the protein bowl because it has wild rice and the rice was out, so I had to get white rice.
We get the tiniest scoops of steak. Bro took our $50 Bill and the manager yelled at him saying he's not supposed to 1. Take cash without a manager, and 2. Not take anything over $20. The manager was clearly very over this employee and ready to go home, but didn't Even offer us a receipt.
The final product that was handed to me had such little food in it that it looked like somebody had already picked through it. My friend showed me the same product at another location and it was like an advertisement compared to my small, old, and room temp food.
This was my first experience at sweet green and for $46 for two people to get a salad, protein bowl and two drinks I really expected much better quality. Wish I had read the reviews before trying this location since it sounds like the worst in the city.
I wish I had my receipt so I can complain! Guess I have to make do with a...
Read moreToday, I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Sweetgreen, and what a fantastic experience it turned out to be! This place truly embodies what it means to serve healthy, fresh, and flavorful food.
Walking in, I wasn’t familiar with the menu at all, but the staff was incredibly helpful. One team member, in particular, stood out for his exceptional service. He patiently walked me through my options and made some great recommendations. When he suggested I try their mustard dressing, I initially stuck with the dressing I usually prefer but accepted his offer of a side of the mustard dressing and I’m so glad I did. It was, without a doubt, the best mustard dressing I’ve ever tasted. It was flavorful, tangy, and complemented the salad perfectly.
Speaking of the salad, it was fresh and delicious. The rice had a fantastic texture, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Every ingredient tasted fresh and healthy, which made the meal all the more enjoyable.
One of the standout aspects of this Sweetgreen location was the cleanliness. From the floors to the windows, everything was spotless. I even noticed staff actively working to maintain the cleanliness of the space, which I greatly appreciated. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give their cleanliness a 10 without hesitation. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and the environment are given such high attention to detail.
The food presentation was another highlight it was clear that every bowl was made fresh to order with care. The combination of fresh ingredients, incredible flavors, and excellent service made this experience...
Read moreThis place has changed. A couple of years ago it was good quality and reasonable value. But now, FOR $15 THEY CAN'T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO GIVE YOU A HANDFUL OF LETTUCE.
I spent $30 on two salads and i got was insulting. My order came out 15 minutes late but that was understandable because the restaurant seemed understaffed and the employees there seemed to be working, and had a pleasant demeanor.
When I got home and opened the containers though, I had to laugh at how offensive what I saw was. There was probably the equivalent of 1 leaf of kale in the container, and when I saw this I went back to the restaurant to complain. The staff who made the salad went on to explain they were adhering to the "correct portion sizes" and pointed to a just slightly visible line in the bottom of the container. The line was there to tell them what an accurate portion was. Why they wouldn't just make the container smaller is beyond me.
They offered to fix it by making me new salads or by adding more lettuce to the bowl, but i declined. Having to go back and spend the time/energy to complain about something that should be a basic expectation (you know, like getting a little bit of lettuce when you buy a $15 salad) tends to ruin your appetite.
Don't waste your money here, you do not get what...
