The moment I walked in to your store, it was only by curiosity, KING KING KING, “what is King”, I asked myself. So leaving another furniture store, I approached your parking lot, then realized it’s a furniture store. A Suggest ion would be add the word Furniture or Living to the word already and their King. Now back to my legendary experience in customer service with Diego (Design Consultant). Entering your establishment, Diego acknowledged that I was a customer by introducing himself, then I introduced myself to him. I quickly let him know that I needed EVERYTHING in the condo I OWN, a 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room and dining room need to be furnished. Style I love what I see, but I am a simple man, don’t like clutter. Durable, Functional able and Affordable pieces is what I need. Quickly he got his laptop started to ask”,where would like to begin”, I said Master Bedroom. Showing me bed frames, loung chairs that go at the end of the bed, I quickly positioned on to the side of the bed to see if legs hit the frame bed, wink wink! 1st one did, 2nd didn’t, jumped on top of mattress in a position that I would use the bed in, he sees me; says we don’t sell mattresses. I’ll take this bed frame in this color in queen size, a full size bed frame too with a chair for each end of the bed. Add on 3 end tables as well for bedrooms, 2 lounge chairs, with ottomans. Living room next, couch, sofa, 2 chairs, 2 ottomans, coffee table too. A round dining room table or oval table for 6, 6 dining room chairs, with 4 leather pillows, now Diego was so knowledgeable of the materials used in fabric / leather quality too. Loved how he was explaining the pieces of furniture that can be customized to what needs I needed. A personal touch that King Living does. Rugs was last, explained that since it’s made to order furniture it will take up to 4 months in being delivered, and assembling it at the condo. Customer Service is dying but Employees like Diego that provide legendary CUSTOMER SERVICE to EVERY HUMAN with out profiling the hard working Human all because of their skin color, how they are dressed, or speak, is what I look for when shopping at a store, restaurant or corporation. Daddy is my Soulmate, my Father/Mother are very impressed with your company, designs, style and legendary customer service. So thank you for hiring Diego for not only representing King Living in a VERY PROFESSIONAL MATTER BUT ALLOWING FOR MYSELF TO BE MYSELF, A HUMAN with personality. I had found an advertisement of the 1977 sofa on Pinterest when I was shopping for furniture for my new apartment. Immediately, this sofa piqued my interest and I knew I had to test it out. I was pleased to see that there was a King showroom in Chicago. When I went in to try out the sofa, I was greeted by Lauren who suggested various sofas for me to try out after I told her what I was looking for. I ultimately decided to move forward with the 1977 sofa, and Lauren was extremely helpful. To my delight, she was able to find a configuration that fit my needs that would deliver more quickly than the 10-12 week lead time, as it was already on the way to the port. She also was very flexible in terms of the delivery address because I had not signed a lease for my new apartment yet. From the moment I walked into the showroom to when I submitted my payment, Lauren was a great person to work with and extremely responsive. I'll submit another review once the sofa is delivered, but so far, I highly recommend checking out this showroom! The space and pieces are beautiful, and the King associates are kind and helpful.

Edit: Adding an update here since I received the sofa. The delivery process was extremely smooth, and Lauren was a great resource along the way. The delivery was done by Ryder. I had the white-glove option so the Ryder team set up the sofa and took all the boxes with them. The sofa is just as comfortable as I remember it from the showroom. Overall, it took 35 days to receive my sofa, which was a pleasant surprise....

We had been searching for the perfect sofa for quite some time. Most options we found were either too bulky or too expensive. Around Thanksgiving, we noticed a brand-new King Living showroom opening nearby. Although it wasn’t open yet, our curiosity was piqued. In the meantime, we purchased a sofa from another store.

A few days after the King Living showroom officially opened, we decided to stop by—and we’re so glad we did! The moment we walked in, we spotted the Fleur 2.5-seater sofa. It was exactly what we’d been looking for: a sleek, modern design that stood out from the ordinary. We loved it so much that we ended up returning the other sofa we had bought and ordered this one instead.

The designs at King Living are both stylish and reasonably priced. To make things even better, they offered free delivery during the holiday season, which was a wonderful bonus!

The team at the showroom was incredibly helpful, respectful, and welcoming. A special thanks to Nick, Robert, Diego, Lauren, and Alex for their exceptional service.
