This is a Taco Bell. There's not much special about a cantina. The menu is basically the same. The food is still Taco Bell food. If you love it at another Taco Bell, you'll like it here; if Taco Bell doesn't agree with you else where, don't expect a miracle here. The "open kitchen" is cool, but the ploy is unnecessary. You can stand at the window to watch your food being made, but the view is limited by the equipment and food containers. The charging high table is nice to get a little more power while eating. Bring your own cord. Sadly, it's understaffed and only had two people working when at least three should have been assigned. Also the Kiosks and cash registers went down and there was a ten minute wait for the system to reboot (hopefully not a trend.) The dining area is relatively clean. The design scheme is darker so it's a bit harder to see mess,. There were stomped sauce packets in some areas but understaffing means no one to clean up. Bathrooms were "buzz in" and only one toilet per room (men's and women's only.) They were messy and needed to be cleaned an have the garbages emptied. They needed more...
Read moreCame to this location and waited a couple of minutes at the register before anyone acknowledged me. That was fine, as it was around dinner time. When a gentleman finally came to help me, I told him I had two mobile orders for pick up, one of which was placed more than a half an hour ago.
I was told to wait on the other end of the counter, where the food comes out after assembled. I was confused by this, given that I had a mobile order, but I complied. I waiting for 20 minutes before I noticed that people who ordered in person after me were getting their food. Turns out they’d made my orders and just left them on the counter behind the register. They didn’t call my name, they didn’t check when I initially informed them I was there for pick up, and they didn’t say sorry.
I’m honestly confused? If the gentleman that asked me to wait knew he hadn’t taken my order in person, why in the world would they allow me to wait there without checking, AT SOME POINT, what I was waiting for. Abysmal service at...
Read moreI'm very loyal to this Taco Bell location because, even during the height of the scamdemic, they allowed my religious exemption from wearing a face diaper. The staff even came to my defense a couple of times when I was confronted by sheeple customers over the mask issue. As for the food preparation, it's consistently good-- being a vegan, my order isn't straightforward yet they always get it right and they don’t skimp on the beans, which is big for me. They occasionally take a little long on my order, but that's understandable given how busy they can get. Anyway, I don't mind waiting since the conditions inside are always comfortable (air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter), and the atmosphere is pleasant with the abundant but well-spaced seating and the big-screen televisions on the wall to pass the time. And the wifi is good quality. At length, I'm a big fan and I'm thankful this place exists in my...
