This particular McDonald's is always dirty inside. The windows & doors seem like they are never cleaned. McDonald's has been trying so hard to update and upgrade to new systems and keep up with the times and all they've done is make their establishment slower and less comfortable. YES, they have MANY new ways to place your order now, however they still have the same exact amount of people behind the counter to fill the orders. Overworked, stressed, "REAL" people. McDonald's use to be FAST FOOD. I very rarely ever go in McDonald's these days, due to the fact that it is FAR from being fast, now that they have their moving word menus and multiple futurized options to place orders. The people who work there are filling orders coming at them from the drive thu, the Kiosk, the registers and online. WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF EMPLOYEES, IF NOT LESS, THEN WHAT THEY HAD JUST WITHIN THE PAST 5 YEARS. I don't know how you remember McDonald's 5 years ago??? But I remember them being a place to go when you wanted to get something FAST. It's not fast inside anymore. I also remember them being a place to take your kids to play. It would really give mom's a little break from running errands with kids who were hungry and frustrated from boredom. Times REALLY have changed in the past 5 or 6 years and my personal opinion... the change really does NOT seem better. Something else to keep in mind, McDonald's hires special needs... and McDonald's workers are "super stressed" and way more "overwhelmed" then they were 5 or 6 years ago, now that they have at least 4 or 5 different ways that orders are pouring in at them... just something to...
Read moreI love McDonald’s it’s alway my go to and I normally don’t have any issues with this one in particular but I wasn’t very pleased when I went the other night. I had called ahead at about midnight to see when they closed, the guy on the phone said “12:30”. So I left right away and I only live a 7 minute drive away, if that, so it obviously didn’t take me long to get there. So let’s say I got there at 12:10. The line was a decent size but I’ve been in a longer line at this same restaurant and it took half the time to get through the cars as it did this time. I sat in line for about 15 minutes before I finally got to the speaker at 12:24. I then sat there for another 3 minutes without anyone saying anything to me while they took the order next to me of the girl who had JUST pulled into the line maybe 2 minutes ago. Finally, the guy comes on and says to me “I’m sorry we’re closed”... Uhm what? ... now usually I wouldn’t have an issue with this but just the fact that for 1: I called ahead to make sure I had time to get there and order and it wasn’t 12:30 yet, for 2: I had been waiting in line for over 15 minutes and the girl next me, that just pulled up, got to order. Then I had to drive all the way to the McDonald’s on East Ave just to wait in line some more but I did get my order at least. So is it my fault for picking the wrong side of the drive thru? Maybe. If I would’ve picked the other side I would’ve got my order. And just to be a little more petty I haven’t gotten a straw with my order the last 2 times I’ve ordered through DoorDash. ✌️ I still love McDonald’s so I’m obviously not going to stop...
Read moreFood is consistently cold, I don’t usually post reviews especially not about a fast food chain, but as someone who has been in the service industry for over a decade I get pretty heated when I get verbally harassed by an employee Her name is Carla she was sitting on her phone during work hours and completely ignoring the window, after I had realized she wasn’t going to let me pay for my order I decided to head to the next window where I let the other lady know that I hadn’t yet payed, she took my card and than was followed by Carla who decided she wanted to come and confront me and let me know what I am and am not allowed to do(keep in mind cars are piling up as she does this) and than as I go to retort and let her know that this type of attitude was unacceptable she scurried off back to the window and that was the last I saw of her. Personally I was appalled to see that me trying to pay for my food was such an issue, and to know that this more than likely isn’t going to get handled at all because the management just doesn’t seem to care even in the slightest. And just in case this actually does happen to get handled I’d like to leave a personal message for Carla, I’m a chef of 10 years and you work at McDonald’s I really don’t think it’s your place to tell me what to do in life especially when you can’t handle even working a simple window job without getting distracted...
