Nobibi Ice cream &Tea — Restaurant in Chino Hills

Last week I was introduced to this hidden gem and I say hidden because it's so close to my office but didn't know about it. The location itself is small but has a vibe to it. The inside was clean and and service was good.

Now lets move on the most delicious part of this review... the ice cream lol

I had the Magic lamp (vanilla flavor), let me just say I was little disappointed that it was not fully covered with the freeze dried strawberry sprinkles in a black waffle cone. Flavor wise it was good the vanilla tasted like real vanilla and the sprinkles gave it a kick. I was able to try a spoonful of my fellow yelper Ninja ice cream which was black sesame, now that flavor I had never had and it was delicious. The other one chosen was the Mini cloud, which was topped with cotton candy. The presentation were on point with the ice creams. My second choice was the Dalgona cocoa coffee with boba. I'm impressed with this drink, as it was strong in flavor but the cocoa foam at the top was smooth and the chocolate syrup drizzled around the inside of the cup made it the perfect combination.

I would suggest for the young ladies maybe be more attentive with customers as it is a small location and when customers walk in or out I did not hear any welcome...

30 minutes prior to their closing time they stop serving cotton candy. And then they start to close 15mins before their closing time. I didn't realize what they were doing because I didn’t think any dessert place on Saturday night would close at 9pm. If I knew they weren’t going to allow people to enjoy their expensive desserts I wouldn’t have ordered.

The ice creams are just normal with cereal on top. Really nothing special at all.

And after ordering, it took a little while to get our ice creams. It felt like they just handed them to us, and I had just sat down to eat them and a young girl loudly shouted WE ARE CLOSED! LEAVE NOW!

I’ve never been kicked out of anything before, and I was just absolutely shocked! It was just so rude and unnecessary! Either way they shouldn’t treat people like this. Will never go...

I bought their drinks before — the taste was just average, not as good as 3cats. I thought maybe their ice cream would be better, so I came again to try it. Surprisingly, it tasted really bad — it had a saccharin-like artificial sweetness and texture, far worse than the ice cream from Costco or McDonald’s. The store was also very dirty.
