In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Chino

In N Out is my all time favorite restaurant and I almost never have a bad experience! But tonight my food was all sorts of wrong.😭 I know my order is a bit complicated but I get it all the time and don’t normally have issues. The girl who took my order took it perfectly(per the receipt) so shoutout to Leah! But grill was a bit off tonight. First, I am allergic to tomato, so I asked for no tomato and no spread. It said that on the receipt, but when we got the burgers, they both(yes I got two I’m a hungry pregnant girl lol) had EXTRA tomato and randomly ketchup. I double checked and it doesn’t say ketchup anywhere on the receipt.

Sadly we were already home by the time I opened my food so we had to go back, which set us back for our early day tomorrow. Obviously they were super nice and quickly offered to remake them.

I was in the restroom when they gave us the remade food, so I asked my husband to peek inside and double check they didn’t have tomato or ketchup. He said we were good so this time I started trying to eat in the car, and I realized neither of my burgers had onions.

Now, onions are my favorite thing about in N out. Like if I could get triple extra onions I would. Or quadruple. They are SO GOOD and I always get EXTRA grilled onions, this time no different. I had seen for sure on the receipt that the cashier put extra onions, and the original burgers that had ketchup and tomato definitely had extra grilled onions. But the new ones, although free of tomato and ketchup, had no onions. At all. And they used the same receipt to remake them, so they should have had the onions.

Sadly when they remade the food they accidentally kept the receipt otherwise I’d include a picture too. But I do have photos first of the issues with adding tomato and ketchup and second the ones with no onions.

Even tho we had just left it was too late to go back and replace it again since we have an early day. Since they took the receipt I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get a refund but we’ll probably go in tomorrow night after Disney lol to see if we can. This had to be the worst In-N-Out experience I have ever had. I came to In-N-Out expecting to get my food and leave quickly, like the Raising Cane's line next to them. Unfortunately, I was wrong and ended up waiting over an hour for my food in line. It wasn't just the wait that got me the most mad; it was the fact that people were cutting in line and my food wasn't even all in the bag. I had to slam on my brakes and confront the employee about my missing fries. She gave me a confused and irritated look and asked for my receipt. This agitated me because not only was she holding up the line, but she also thought I was lying. I waited an hour for my food; why would I lie about missing fries when I'm driving an Audi? I'm not going to steal your potatoes. I would have been better off driving out of line to a different In-N-Out, getting my food, and would have been home faster with a better overall experience. WHAT'S A GAL TO DO, WHEN SHE GETS THE IN N OUT URGE AND HER HUSBAND'S NOT AROUND? Well, she treats and drives her own self to her own Double Double! The Chino Hills, In n Out is my favorite! Fast, Courteous, Delicious and Affordable ($5.55)! I'm a very Lucky Gal that gets to work just a few blocks away. Even though I'm supposed to be on my "weight loss journey", I allow myself a Double Double Cheeseburger, because it's only 600 calories and high protein! I frequent In n Out about once a month, otherwise my booty would spread as far and fast as the rumor that 5G caused Covid (which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!)! The drive thru is a little tricky and there's always a line after 11:45am. I suggest go between 11:00 and 11:45 to grab your lunch.
