After wasting my time with Nordstrom yesterday, I am DONE being a customer.
I wanted to return an item I had purchased from the anniversary sale that was going on last month. I've never had any issues trying to make a return at a rack store until today.
The lady working the front said she was unable to take the return because it's a designer brand. Ummm? What? It was a $60 lip kit from Dior, and like I said, I've never had an issue making any type of return at a rack store nor am I one of those customers that abuse the return policy.
I went outside and called .com and asked if the policy had changed she informed me that it's up to the manager to accommodate that change. I called and spoke to the floor manager BRIDGET, who was completely unhelpful, but in this day and age it seems they'll hire anybody without customer service skills. Doesn't matter if you have proof of purchase, she would not accept my return and recommended that I ship it back, or go to a nordstrom fls store. Uhhhh. Nordstrom closed the two in the inland empire, what an inconvenience to drive to Brea for a $60 return.
I left infuriated, and figured, if I'm going to drive out to Brea for this, I'm returning everything I purchased at Nordstrom in the last 1-2 years, and did just that. I am done with this company. They're just as bad, if not worse, than Macy's.
With this new approach to customer service, I wouldn't be surprised to see this company go under in the next decade. No wonder they're closing stores. That magical Nordstrom experience is no longer there. They are just like every other...

I bought something online and had it shipped to the store. I tried to return it 2 weeks later and the so called āManagerā said they would not accept the return. I asked her to show me the return policy and she left to go check with another person. Why is the ā Managerā checking with someone else? Your staff doesnāt even know their own return policy. Wasted my time, was rude and 100% unhelpful. LAST time I shop here. Went to Nordstrom Brea and the return took all of 10 seconds. Thatās how it should have been. Instead you lost another family who frequented the location.
Also, the pickup line is hit or miss. Either they will help you right away or you will stand and wait 10-15 min as their cashiers ignore you. There is 0 consistency to service and the cashiers usually have disgruntled attitudes. I used to shop here A LOT. Iāll take my business...

The amount of incompetent associates working the registers and just standing around doing everything else except helping customers and ringing them up is unbelievable and unacceptable! Even the manager up front seeing their is a growing line of customers wrapping halfway around the store just not paying any attention to her staff or customersā needs.
