t was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this Denny’s location offers a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food that keeps you coming back for more.
Ambiance: The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and spacious, providing a comfortable setting for both solo diners and large groups. The booths are cozy, and the décor has a charming, nostalgic feel that makes you feel right at home.
Service: The service at Denny’s on Birch Road is truly top-notch. From the hostess who greeted us with a friendly smile to our attentive server who went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect, every staff member was courteous and professional. Our food arrived promptly, and our server checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed.
Food: The menu at Denny’s is extensive, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. I opted for the classic Grand Slam breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy and golden, and the bacon and sausage were crispy and flavorful. My dining companion chose the Bourbon Bacon Burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and served with a generous portion of seasoned fries.
We also tried the seasonal dessert – the Pumpkin Pie Milkshake – which was an absolute treat. Rich, creamy, and bursting with fall flavors, it was the perfect way to end our meal.
Value: One of the best aspects of Denny’s is the excellent value for money. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. There are also frequent promotions and discounts, making it even more affordable.
Overall Experience: Denny’s on Birch Road exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a welcoming ambiance, exceptional service, and delicious, affordable food makes it a standout choice for any meal of the day. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a late-night snack, this Denny’s location is sure to impress. I highly recommend it and look forward to...
Read moreI have loved Dennys for over 20 years but this locations service was terrible. We went there on a Saturday morning and we're told there was a 15 minute wait. 30 minutes later they called our name we came up to the counter and the lady had us down for a party of 4 even though we all were present and stated we had a party of 6. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for them too arrange a table for 6. Once we were seated at the table there were about four waitresses or Waiters that passed right by our table making eye contact on numerous occasions and never once offered us menus water or anything. What was really frustrating is we seem to other tables get seeded after we had been sitting for 10 minutes and they were already drinking their coffee and Waters and already had their orders taken yet no one had even approached our table yet. With no exaggeration this went on for about 10 minutes before I was finally Fed Up and flagged a waiter down. He said he would get someone to help us I seen him go from one waiter to another he would point at our table and they would look towards us and shake their heads no. He continued looking for anyone to assist. Finally he approached one waiter who eventually came over and took our order. We asked for water immediately and he never brought them out. When they finally brought out our food I asked the guy again for water as we were very thirsty. During the entire course of the meal we were never asked how the food was our waters were never refilled either. This was by far the worst Denny's experience I have ever had. They either need to hire more help or hire people who actually care about their jobs. I know this is just Denny's and not a fine dining restaurant but there is at least a basic expectation of some reasonable and adequate service. Go to the Denny's off of E Street and the...
Read moreThey were obviously very short staffed, the waitress was literally running. No host/est. 3 tables had 1 or 2 people each when we arrived. About 5 tables were waiting to be bussed. So the delay in drinks and food was no problem, we got what we ordered.
My son ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes with eggs, hash browns, and 2 sausage links. The pancakes frosting seemed to have crispy chunks in it, very sweet also, I'd pass on these. I'd say a bit overpriced, quality is what you would expect, decent, warm, and enough.
I ordered the Everyday value slam with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon. The b&g was just pathetic, I'd have thought it would be more than 1 biscuit cut in half. The sausage was not a ground variety, but a cut up sausage link and minimal gravy. The 2 pancakes would have made the meal worth it. I ordered my eggs over hard as I always do, they were very runny.
If the b&g portion was a little more, that would have raised this by a star.
We shared the appetizer sampler. The boneless chicken wings were tasty, moist, and just delightful (unexpected 😋), the fries needed to be cooked longer, the onion rings were alright, the mozzarella sticks could have been cooked a little longer.
A huge + is they have Cholula!!
Overall $40 for 2 was decent enough, but I think we will head to iHop...
