In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Interestingly the phrase, "It went south" denotes that a situation has taken a turn for the worse. When my cousin from the east coast is in the San Diego area for work he usually attempts to get his fix of everything that is not available on that side of the country. Going south to eat at In-N-Out's southernmost California location turned out far better than that ol' saying. It was crowded surprisingly, but we did not have to wait long to have our order taken. Moises the cashier was able to take customers orders ahead of us efficiently so we were placing our order in no time. We were able to get bar seats easily since it was only two of us, and it was spick and span clean. It was awhile before our order came out, but this is always to be expected at any In-N-Out during times it is very busy. Israel made sure we had everything we needed before we sat down to enjoy our #2 Whole Grill Cheeseburgers, fries and a drink(I had a neapolitan shake). It was scrumdiddlyumpcious! The Whole Grill(A whole complete slice of an onion grilled on both sides) Cheeseburger had a perfect tinge of carmelization colorization(not as easy to do with so many other orders to cook on the griddle at the same time), with the fries crisp and golden, and the neapolitan shake smooth and satisfying. I usually love coming to this location but today was very disappointing. Let me start this off by saying the food was fine, delicious as always. My issue is with the customer service &’ lack of self awareness. They forgot my burger. I got it added on &’ that was that! Then, they forgot my animal fries, I went back and received a lot of attitude. She rolled her eyes &’ was irritated. I understand it can be frustrating and stressful but people have to be aware of what other people see! After, I went back to get spread and chilies, I made eye contact with many employees and not one assisted until I said something. She got me spread, I wasn’t sure if she was going to get the chilies or not because she left without saying anything &’ not to mention she just threw the spread on the counter no bag or anything! Then after I asked someone else she comes with chilies. Simple things like this can be solved with communication! I know customers service is the motto of innout but unfortunately today it did not meet those...

Long lines for amazing burgers, like all in-n-out location service is fast and friendly. Burgers taste awesome and fresh, never disappointed.

Like all locations the drive through can be messy but the staff aleays does a great job to ensure the keep everyone organized. I wish the would add another location in the San Diego southbay area.

I had to update my review from four years ago, because I feel this I need to point this out. Isabella was working the counter taking orders, I walked in, and there was nobody in front of me. Instead of greeting me, she almost seemed to roll her eyes. Once I walked up to her. She started to take my order, and when I got to the point to make the payment, she just walked away for almost a minute. She came back and realized that she had walked away and just handed me my receipt and cups, this is the worst customer service I’ve received ever employee...
