Huge thank you to Heidi for making a bad situation right.
I dropped off an important package Friday afternoon for overnight Fedex Express pickup to arrive Monday morning to a client in Milwaukee.
Saturday morning I decided to check on it’s progress and to my surprise and concern, it didn’t show as picked up. I started to worry. I called as soon as they opened and Heidi answered. She confirmed that my package was still there... never picked up. Uh oh. She took my name and number and promised to look into it and follow up. Sure enough, an hour later she called. She took full responsibility and admitted their mistake. The package was missed during Friday’s pickup and the driver never came back once they realized and called for him to return. I get it. Accidents happen... but now I’m in trouble. My client is expecting that package first thing Monday morning and now I’m a day behind already. Fedex picks up again at 3, but I want to make 100% sure it’ll arrive now since we lost a day. Heidi tells me she’ll do some digging and call me back.
She calls me again and says good news and bad news. Bad news is that Fedex has no cargo planes leaving this weekend for some reason. Good news is UPS can get it there. She said they’ll foot the bill for the new label since it was their mistake to make it right and even drove it over to the UPS hub personally to make sure it went out. Fast forward to Monday, package arrived on-time in Milwaukee, my client none the wiser. Heidi saved the day!! Thank you so much!! Now that’s customer service and...
Read moreI just want to say that I love coming to this Postal Annex I still laugh each time I go there. But that's just not the biggest reason. These ladies are so very helpful with great service they provide, also laugher and clear joy., I had gone to one place to get business cards I waited for over two weeks and there were still no cards. But when I ask Deb, and with no hesitation she said sure no problem, I tell you if not for a minor detail with the system she would have had cards in my hand that same day. But I did get them the next day. Totally awesome, so as you may now know this is where I will be getting all my business cards printed up or until that move or something, but they better not.
I going to reach back a bit, I had a few losses in my family, and I had a few plaques made to send to my family back east, and Deb and Heidi were so very helpful and kind to prepare my plaques to ship out. Some was made with glass, they insured that they would get there in one piece & they did. My family commented on how well they were wrapped, great job always. They treat everyone who walk through there door like family smiling and hugging, you cannot help but come back. Very kind. Read moreI went to purchase a to rap 2 backpacks the gentleman assisted me And realized the backpack was too big for the box we went to the next size apparently the employee thought we are looking at a² box when I came home I realized they are not squared the next size over was long rather than square.... I called to see if I can Debbie the owner said her policy is no returns because they are marked down.... It is not my fault that the gentleman gave me the wrong sizes, Postal annex is not a place where you can just go shopping therefore I could not ask for just a evening exchange... Debbie the owner said unfortunately I cannot refund you... I can tell you she lost a client and a few more... Very sad because I spent $38.50 on boxes that I will not be able to use.... This is not great...
