Palomino sports bar & venue — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Used to do shows here when it was over the border. Nice place to hang out. It has a chill vibe, especially on a reggae night. Went for Ruff em' up Posse. One negative is that they make you pay for water, but I know that on a busy night pouring water can slow down bar service. They should have maybe just a large self serve water jug like most clubs have. Otherwise fantastic time back it this South...

I wish I could give a higher star, but bartenders literally ignore my service (once stood there for 12 minutes before a bartender I knew served me, with two other bartenders pretending they only speak Spanish to Spanish speaking customers🤷🏾)...and security making me turn around three times for a pat-down. No thank you...get treated like a human being elsewhere. Black patrons, spend your money...

Their cover charge is ridiculous for a GHETTO spot. They over charged on a cover fee of 40 dollars. Plus, their drinks where mostly ICE rather then liquor! Bottom line, for what you will pay at the Palomino you are better off going down town...
