Dear Starbucks Management,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my son and I received at your store located at 2965 Main St, Chula Vista, CA 91911, on June 1, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m.
Due to the extreme heat that day (over 90 degrees with high humidity), I sent my son into your store to ask for a simple cup of water while I parked the car. To my shock, he was denied the request. I was even more dismayed when I approached the window to understand what had happened, and the employee named NATA refused to speak with me, displayed a rude and dismissive attitude, and made no attempt to provide an explanation or resolution.
Following this, a young woman who identified herself as Nata’s supervisor appeared. Rather than assist, she was similarly unhelpful and refused to provide any identifying information, including her name or a contact number for the corporate office. To make matters worse, her demeanor was unprofessional—she appeared amused by the situation and seemed to mock my concern with smiles and an inappropriate attitude.
As a frequent and loyal customer of this location, I find it appalling and unacceptable that basic decency—such as offering water to someone on a hot day—was denied, especially to a child. The level of disrespect and lack of customer service I experienced is simply beyond belief and does not align with the standards I have come to associate with Starbucks.
I expect a formal apology from your team, and I urge you to retrain your staff on the importance of compassion, professionalism, and basic human courtesy. Please also provide a response detailing how this situation will be...
Read moreI will never stopped by to this Starbucks or any other location give my money to receive this type of service ever , no sense of customer service, I place my order on a mobile app, when arrive to the drive thru window I ask for a cup of ice , and the cashier literally told me to make sure order on the app, and wait 10 to 15 minutes before pick up my order , why add the type of comments to the guest there is no reason , what’s the purpose, it’s the same thing if I order my order on the drive thru, I need to wait anyways, she refused to give me m drinks and not a big issue but when I ask to speak to the Manager Mrs Veronica the stocks owner “” she was super nasty and rude , stand of ask me what happened and solved my issue of concern she started arguing with me, she refuse to give me my drinks and she supposed to give my refund through the app, which she was lied to me because, your policy said when you place a mobile through the app, the stored it’s responsible to give you refund on the spot , no sense of customer service, no training at all, I will never treated a guest like that if no matter if have a bad day if you receive this type of guest your job as a Manager or supervisor it’s to remind calm and solve the problem Mrs Veronica the stacks owner that’s how she rephrases her self , she have no glue what’s the business behind ignorance it’s a long way, every year services it’s down to the hill you should being more selective when you hire...
Read moreThis location made me no longer support starbucks. I spent so much money here, and one day I asked to use the restroom before I ordered, and the barista (with an additude), said, "With a purchase." Keep in mind, I would frequent the place. I was so mad, I just left.
I finally went back a few months later, to that location, when I wasn't mad about the situation anymore. When I was ordering something, some lady came to the counter and asked for water, and they refused her water! That's inhumane! No one should be refused water ever!
