We have been going here for almost 20 years and over the time the service has been hit and miss. Meaning missing salad dressing for a salad. Sauce for the gyros missing, sauce for the fish dinner missing. We even had the French fries missing. There have been many people who have worked there and are not competent in taking an order over the phone and then blaming you THE Customer as wrong. We have not gone there as often due to these issues. Today I was running very late from work and called in an order for 3 items. Went thru the drive and waited for my turn, the young lady at the drive thru does not ask my name which I did provide to the nasty order taker, she does not ask what my order was and she took my credit card and the 2.00 off coupon found on a Jewel receipt. I guess she realized that she didn't even know what was my order and she comes back to the window asking what I ordered. I repeat the order to realize she was charging me for something else but she corrected her mistake and charges me without the coupon. I then ask her about the reason for not using the coupon but I don't think she knew what to do so she blames me for the coupon and gives me 2.00. I then receive 2 bags and I drive out frustrated by the lack of customer service. But then the 3 item order was messed up and missing the gyros sauce and the perch dinner missing the tarter sauce . I arrived home and my son and husband's dinner were both missing the tarter sauce and gyros sauce so I call and this Sebastian states he is the manager which I doubt but he then treats me and my 20 years of using Lucky dog as a trivial error and doesn't have any people skills to manage. Insults my loyalty and offers to give me credit for 2 missing sauces. He does not try to aid the error and send us the sauce nor does Sebastian think that 2 meals missing a key item for the meal as anything but a mistake. All I can say is I will call in the morning to speak with the real manager. Please stay away from Cicero Lucky Dog and go to the Berwyn location.    Read moreI recently had a very unpleasant experience at Lucky Dog on Roosevelt that I feel compelled to share. My fiancé and I decided to pick up dinner from the drive-thru, looking forward to enjoying a meal with our son. However, the excitement quickly turned to disgust when we discovered a crawling creature on my fiancé's fries.
It’s absolutely unacceptable for any food establishment to serve food that is anything less than clean and safe, let alone to find something crawling in our meal. We were both horrified and there was no way we could continue eating after that discovery. Our son, who was eagerly anticipating his fries and burger, was understandably disappointed as we made the difficult decision to throw out all the food.
This experience not only ruined our dinner but also left us questioning the hygiene standards at Lucky Dog. It’s a shame because we had hoped to enjoy our meal, and our son was particularly excited about it.
Unfortunately, this incident has ensured that we won’t be returning. I strongly urge the management to review their food safety protocols, as no one should have to deal with such a distressing experience...
   Read moreI hadn't been to this location in about a year. I and two other customers attempted to enter the building. The door to the lobby seemed to be locked. I pushed and pulled on both doors. There were a couple of customers inside and one male employee on customer side of counter who was talking to an employee behind the counter. Both employees looked at us trying to enter and offered NO HELP. We went to drive thru because it was open. The server at the pickup window said door to lobby was not locked, it's just really hard to open. That is unacceptable. Customers who make the effort to enter your establishment should not have to struggle to open the door. It is unacceptable that the employees offered NO ASSISTANCE. Seemed that they didn't care too much for our business. My Italian beef & sausage was great. The majority of the mozzarella cheese I paid for was stuck to the paper.
