I came last night at 9:52pm when I pulled up to the drive-through there was already a car at the speaker so I decided to call their number and ask if they were still open the lady on the phone said that that dining was close but that the drive-through was still open I asked her pacifically would you be able to take my order I am the car after the car at the speaker she told me yes so I decided to wait.Car after car kept getting their food , I kept saying hello hello no answer what so ever. so I ended up pulling up to the window and she tells me we’re close and I told her I talk to you on the phone. Then she cut me off and telling me were closed and I asked why would she tell me she would be able take my order made me wait 19 minutes in line for her not to even take my order so then I asked for a manager. When the manager came to the window she said we’re close again and I told her the situation and she said “well we’re close what do you want me to do we’re close“ And when I asked her for the store number she just stayed quiet and I had to repeat myself can I get the store number and then when she gave it to me I asked for her name and she literally stared at me, her name is Maria. Read moreThis particular location handled a recent promotion very poorly. I had placed my free sandwich order and it was accepted. Once I went to pick up my order, they refused to give me the order because they were no longer accepting the promotion. The website didn't mention anything about only participating locations accepting the promo.
Had they simply done something to not allow me to order online, I would have been ok with it. The redemption code was lost and nothing was done. I didn't mind losing out on the promotion, it was only a free sandwich. I was just baffled with how poorly the promotion was handled and how nothing was done to honor or work with anyone to do something.
I saw many people go through the same thing and the manager decided to close the doors so people would stop going inside and had people wait in the drive thru instead.
I will not be coming back here again. There is a location by North Riverside mall that is much better and friendlier. To the people in corporate: please train your people better or have better systems in place if you are to partner with a company and give away things for free. Then, says the card machine needs to start back working. She said if I didn't reverse I have to come inside which I still didn't understand. She then ask for my card(snatches it) and give me my food. As I'm checking my food she yells and says "it's all there!" which, it wasn't. I was missing an extra side order. When I told her she said I wasn't charged for it. I told her I would still like it and want to pay for it. She said I would have to get back in line or come inside. I asked why. She then asked for my card and gave me my side order. I asked for the manager and she said "I am the manager". I tried taking a picture of the number on the drive thru window but when she saw what I was doing she opened the window and refused to close it so I could get the number.
