Junker's Tavern — Restaurant in Cincinnati

The night of the 21st- it was my birthday and I was seeing a friend for a quick drink. I know this bar is cash only so I went to the back to get cash. I was then addressed by the bartender and she was asking me what I was doing and I told her that I was getting money for the bar. She asked me if I was waiting for a particular friend- how she assumed it was my friend idk. But as soon as I confirmed. She started acting more hostile. Mind you, I didn’t know that my friend wasn’t welcomed there fr and I have nothing to do with his profession- he wanted to go for a drink with me for my bday. She assumed that the 20 dollars that I got from the ATM was for drugs and not a shot of tequila . I found that very offensive- I work with the community. She was also very drunk behind the bar- Yall need to figure out customer service and how to not have confirmation bias towards a person who just want a drink...

I like this dive even though many of my friends hate it. It is cramped, dingy, and loud, and they used to have seats that I'm pretty sure they salvaged from an old school-bus. What it does have going for it is a character and charm all of its own. The eccentric collection of people inside remind me of a downtrodden cast of an off-Broadway play. Life seems more lived...

This bar has cheap drinks, but it's cash only (there's an ATM at the UDF a quarter block away tho). Real fun crowd and chill bartender.

Even ran into friends I hadn't seen in awhile. They have various potato chips if you want a snack. They had a good DJ when I was there and people even danced (however, I can't guarantee it's an every Sunday night thing - if so,...
