Ladder 19 — Restaurant in Cincinnati

First time visit this evening. It took 10 minutes to get the menus so we could order our first drink. Even though we knew what food we wanted, we were asked by our original server just to give him the drink order. So we did. Another 10 minutes and we get our first half of our drink order. Another 5 minutes we get the rest of our drink order. But we still are not able to order food until another 10 minutes and a different server. A side of the chips and a half chopped salad is what we order. 15 minutes later we're thinking the order got dropped between the two servers and we discuss if that's the case, we'll just pay for the drinks and move on. Then our food comes out. We're out of drinks so we order one more round of beer. We start tucking into our food when I notice a dead fly in my salad. Let me say that again. There's a dead fly in my salad. There's like three things on the menu I can actually eat being veggie and this salad is one of them, but there's a dead fly in it! So we wait. Another 10 minutes before anyone comes around. When I say there's a dead fly in my salad and I really can't eat it, the server actually asks me if I think it's from the kitchen or because I'm outside? I don't even know how to answer that without sounding like a jerk so I just say I can't tell you. I know a server's life is hard, but come on. Don't put that on the customer. For what it's worth, I had not noticed a single fly bugging me this evening. Anyway, we did get the salad taken off. But the whole experience was not great from start to finish. The dead fly in the salad was the cherry on top of me looking at my husband in the eye and telling him we're not coming...

Today was my first visit to this restaurant (go it to go) Wings were EXTREMELY over cooked and dry. Hardly any sauce. I didn’t even request well done they were just dry. But the worst part is that I ordered Buffalo chicken dip with my wings and I had plastic packaging in my Buffalo chicken dip!!!!! Halfway through so of course I was already eating it before I found it. And with the virus it’s super scary and unsanitary!! I live 20 mins from the restaurant but I HAD to drive back to show them this, a phone call wasn’t enough. All they said was they could remake it, I declined and asked for the refund (I didn’t even mention the wings bc I was so livid from having plastic in my food). The guys working clearly didn’t care. I will never go back. Save your money and don’t get waste your time!!!!!!! I wish I could upload the pictures of the Buffalo chicken...

2 of us went to the Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch and had to share 1 pitcher of mimosa while the other tables had several pitchers on their tables. I asked for a final pitcher and was denied because it was a minute or two after 3pm when they closed. This place STINKS...they had a huge dog walking around the bar area and there was a table of guests that screamed and talked loudly the whole time we were there. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is basic. I had the pancake bacon dippers and the bacon was basically non existent...it was crumbled up in the pancake strips. Not enjoyable at all. They advertise a bottomless brunch but you have to ask for the next round and wait until they get around to serving it to you. I don't recommend this place to anyone...did I mention that it Stinks?????? No...it really...
