2nd update: It had been over two months since my last visit here. It's been a minute. I decided on spur of the moment to stop and get two coffees. I love second chances. (Third? No matter, it's just coffee 😁) I love it even more when it works out. Ordered two coffees, received two PERFECT coffees. Outstanding service. The gal was friendly, professional, with a great smile and a positive attitude. Bonus! She offered to redeem stars that I didn't realize I had available. I love cashiers who attempt to help my budget, even if it IS an indulgent purchase like my unnecessary-for-survival-fancy-coffee. Almost zero wait time for any Starbucks ever. We went from order to leaving in 5 minutes. I'm making this my store again if this level of service continues. Absolutely outstanding. 9/05/25
Updated review: Very disappointed after my visit today. I wanted a Venti Mocha frappuccino. Half of the time, when I order this here, it has cookies in it, the other times it does not. So I've asked, "How do I order this to get no cookies?" I was told to ask for a Venti Mocha Frappuccino without cookies. So I asked for that today. The cashier first started to hand me a frozen coffee, no whip. I said that's not mine. She said they'd remake it. Then she brought me a frappuccino loaded with cookies, with pristine whip. No cookies is no cookies. Not no cookies in whip. No cookies in the whole thing. She proceeded to tell me that it didn't have cookie crumbles. No, not in the whip, but definitely in the drink. I didn't want cookies. No cookies. She tried to insist that what she was holding was what I ordered. I just waited. She eventually said they'd remake the drink. I ended up with a coffee frappuccino with double whip. This is not what I asked for, not what I paid for. And I really did not need the attitude. It's just coffee. It's not that deep. Throw out the wrong one, make the right one, and behold! Happy customer! Imagine that? Instead, they recycled the first wrong drink into what they decided to give me. It doesn't taste right, and it doesn't look right. When someone pays $7 for a cup of coffee, they want what they ordered. Extremely disappointed with today's service. I'll just find a different Starbucks since they basically just pawned off the trash (the first mistake) on me and had me pay for it. Look at this amount of whip. It's obvious they topped off with extra instead of just making the darn thing in the first place. I should have gotten my receipt. This is the first time this location has ever made me feel like I was bothering them by existing and placing an order. Next time, just refuse to serve me and let me keep my money if I'm so difficult. I write 5 Star reviews for coffee shops several times a month. I'm. Not....
Read moreToday I went through the drive-thru (Western Hills location) sometime around 11:30a-11:45a and ordered my usual (as I do at least 4 days a week) I tasted my iced coffee and it was not what I ordered (clearly missing something) I went back and went inside as the drive-thru line was long. I told the cashier and she re-took my order ( and said nothing else) as I was waiting I asked a young lady (who just asked the only barista if he needed help, he replied "no"), "my order wasn't correct in the drive-thru, do you know about how long it will be I'm gonna be late to work". She replies, "we're working with one barista today" and continued wiping the counter. About 3 min. later she walks back behind and starts making drive-thru orders. I had to re-wait in line until my ticket came up for an error that was on their end, not mine! Where is management?? What happened to customer service at this location? And by the time I got my coffee my breakfast sandwich was cold. Please do better...
Read moreJust a little confused as to why the hours say they close at 9, but when I pulled to the speaker at 8:38 nobody answered to take my order. I gave them some grace and sat there for a few minutes, then pulled up to the window. Thinking maybe they turned their headsets off, or something of that nature. Waited at the window while I watched 2 different employees walk past on a couple different occasions, paying no attention to me. Casually closing up the store, cleaning. Meanwhile, there’s 3 cars behind me at the speaker , honking, attempting to order coffee and give their money to a business, and 2 people walking up to the door trying to order coffee in the lobby. Things happen, but be courteous. Alert your customers of early closings, staff shortages, etc. A simple answer of the speaker, or opening of the window, “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, but we had to close early.” Communication. Instead of blatantly ignoring customers. Very unfortunate for those of us...
