We received our drinks after we were done our meal we had to keep running around to find a waiter and after we found her later he expected a huge tip because he was just standing there waiting watching. I know that you live off of your tips so od course i gave him one. however the experience was really bad one of the worst I've ever had it Friendly's. He was not paying enough attention to their table it wasn't busy but every single person around us was fed they got the food on time it was hot if that their drinks before their food ever came out. My eggs were super runny the portions were very little my Waffle was so cold my husband never received all of his meal and the manager just turned a blind eye as if nothing was happening you have 4 people in the whole entire Friendly's in the morning and I don't understand why we were service so poorly. Every time I went to go ask someone we found someone different to ask and the one didn't want to help at all she just kept passing it off to our waiter who kept forgetting what we wanted or needed and would purposely pass our table and there was I would try to flag him down or call his name he will just keep walking. We did however receive one thing that was hot and it's because we asked a completely different person who person put in the order for us and personally brought it to where table while I waited was standing here apologizing for forgetting a whole entire meal basically. I'm going to just say it was a bad day for him however I can't really say that if there's only 4 people besides ourselves in the whole entire Friendly's. I would only go back there if I knew the one guy was working he's amazing but this guy no good and expecting and standing there waiting for it to see what I'm going to give you as a tip it's just rude when you know you didn't...
Read moreMy second time here, first time was a disaster but I figured maybe it was just a off day. Went and for over 10 minutes no one came to take our drink order so my husband got up to get someone. We ordered our food when the girl came over. Our appetizer with no plates was put in front of us, no big deal but we at least needed napkins. Get up a 2nd time to get napkins. Our food comes out, my husband didn't get the toast that comes with his meal, 1 chicken finger I had I couldn't eat because of the tendon running thru it. No dip like the honey mustard I asked for with it. Not once did our server come to check on us. Looking around again because my child finished his drink and so did I, I'm assuming the manager was walking around so I caught his attention and he got us refills. The place was not busy either, especially for the amount of staff standing around. The waitress comes with the check and looks surprised when we said we wanted to order the icecream that came with our meals. It took forever to get the check back that she took to add a 79 cents extra topping charge,I really didnt feel like saying the toast we never got and the chicken finger I couldn't eat should cancel that out. Ended up my husband had to get up once again for to go cups for the icecream bc my son didn't feel well. My husband was clearly looking at the check and still counting money when she eagerly came to get the check back. Horrible service..my sons kids meal and husbands breakfast was good..thats it. We will never be back here and will travel to a...
Read moreAh, Friendly's. What a fall from grace you had. A cousin and I went here for the first time in well over a decade for the nostalgia factor, hearkening back to when we were kids, and I can't say the years have been kind to Friendly's. While the interior of this location had a fresh paint and a facelift to the exterior, the floor was filthy under our table, detracting major from the cosmetics and pretty much set the tone of the evening. The "adult mac and cheese" was absolutely morbid, it was as if it was made with dish water, and thankfully, they removed this from our tab. I can't believe a chef thought that that slop was okay to send to a consumer. The chicken tenders and fries were good, but that stuff is hard to screw up. The ice cream was meh, I had the peanut butter one. I had the marshmallow topping which was bland and the consistency of elmer's glue. Altogether the price was unreasonable. $55 for 2 people? $12.95 for 4 chicken fingers and fries? That's something I'd expect to pay on the Boardwalk or at the amusement park, not when I have a lot of liberty as a consumer. My cousin had the bbq chicken/ranch/bacon/cheese melt and I stole a bite, that was good. Our waitress Saryna was fine, no complaints about the service. I'd say 2 or 2.5 stars, because the chicken/sandwich and fries were filling and good, but there were surely some things as I mentioned that diminished the experience. Overall, I think Friendly's is a restaurant best enjoyed in my early childhood memories from the late 1990s, and I...
