📌 Save this post for the best hibachi/Asian buffet! 📍 5623 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 ⏰ Sun-Thurs (11am-9pm) Fri-Sat (11am-10pm) 💲: Lunch ($15.99) Dinner ($22.99) Weekends ($23.99) Kids ($6.99-11.99 depending on the day) Hibachi Buffet Sushi & Grill is HONESTLY one of the best buffet I’ve tried. This spot is super popular with the locals. Freshly cooked food is brought out constantly and there’s so many dishes to choose from a little bit of everything for everyone. I was mostly surprised about the sushi. I know sometimes it can be iffy, but wow I was impressed! It was fresh and loved the variety of the rolls. Also, for the price like hello that’s a steal! Gave this place 1 more shot….what a mistake! > wife was eating ice cream otw out and the disgusting waitress (older lady) took the wooden spoon from my wife and said “$1!” > Charged my son (6) as an adult. > Lady gave us fortune cookies before I got my 2nd plate saying”Thanks for coming, have a good day” Then I realized it was getting busy so they were trying to clear tables for incoming customers There’s more but yeah, that’s enough to explain why that’s the last time ========================= Original: Service & atmosphere was good. Food, though there was much, was all very bland, low quality frozen food. - Sushi was non-existent. - Crab was “mini” crabs stuffed with cream cheese. In other words, you have to fight to get a very small piece of meat. - Fruit/Veggies= not much. What was there was going bad (turning pale. Almost no taste.) - LOTS of fried food All in all , if you’re looking to just stuff your face and don’t care about the quality, this is the place for you! For me, it’s an experience my family and I will remember this visit as our first and last

The food wasn't bad at all. It just wasn't that great either. The seasoning was pretty good on everything except the flavors were at about 2. If they added more of the seasoning that's already there, things could be turned up to a 5 and the food would be much better. Everything just, sort of, tasted flat. When food ran out on the buffet, it was filled quickly. There really isn't any "flow" to the way the buffet is set up. It's just people walking around randomly and grabbing what ever they want. It makes for a chaotic few minutes. Hopefully this gets figured out at some point. We didn't try any of the raw offerings or the "grill" on this trip. The service was great. There was always someone there right when plates were done and drinks were never empty but they weren't "hovering".. The price ($20/dinner plus $3/soda) is excellent for what you get. I've been to buffets similar to this in the past and they charged much more. All in all it's a pretty decent start for a brand new place. I can't wait to see where they go from here.
