Super disappointed in this buffet.
Price: We came here after seeing all of the mixed reviews but due to the cheap price of $21 per person, we wanted to try it out anyways. We typically go to Tsukiji AYCE Sushi & Hibachi grill. It is more expensive but sooooooo worth it. Like Tsukiji, drinks are sold separately but they are ordered at the front when requesting a table.
Food: All of the food is prepared buffet style which is typically fine with me, but it was all cold. The food would have been better if it were hot, but it still wasn’t that good in terms of flavor. The food temperature also makes me concerned about the risk of food illness. A lot of the meat was tough, there’s hardly any meat on the ribs. Hard boiled eggs were overcooked. They have a small selection of sushi rolls and they were almost exactly the same, with egg on every single one. The best part of this buffet was the hibachi grill where you select your own noodles/rice/meat/veggies and it is cooked to order.
Hygiene: Adding to the other reviews concerning hygiene, my boyfriend was in the bathroom and watched one of the servers go in there, use the bathroom and rinse his hands, and leave without using any soap. Luckily he was serving in another part of the restaurant. The servers not only collect money, but they bus their own tables and if they are not washing their hands when they use the bathroom then they probably aren’t practicing regular hand hygiene throughout their shift. This does not apply to everyone.
Service: The hosts were efficient. Our server was great, she was extremely attentive and kind. She clearly took her job seriously and it was appreciated. That is the main reason I gave this review any stars at all.
Atmosphere: There was no music playing, so all you can hear are people’s conversations and babies crying. It was very cafeteria-esque. It’s not as nice inside as some of the others have said. It’s big, there’s a big nice chandelier and a couple of cute neon signs but I was overall...
Read moreThis place is a really basic buffet. I paid less than 40 dollars for both my husband and myself to enjoy the lunch buffet meal. Their food was very plain, and some things didn't really have a lot of flavor.
I showed up to specifically get coconut/honey walnut shrimp, which ended up tasting AMAZING, as well as to see what they offered sushi wise. However, I only really got the ebi from the sushi bar. The one thing I really liked, was that their wasabi is actually really hot. Sometimes, I can not find one that fits the heat level I am looking for to dip my fish in. Hubby said they had practically most of the same rolls, he specifically liked the tempura roll and said it was crunchylike it should be. He also said the Mongolian chicken was one of his favorite things from the place. The hibachi grill was decent, but the chef/cook who made my noodles actually mixed mine with another person's meal. So, if you have allergies, I would not recommend eating from that specific area at all. Also, they have a full dessert section with lost of sweets and fruits. No soft serve ice cream machine, it's just single cup servings of ice cream or sherbet.
I ended up throwing EVERYTHING up after we left.. So I wasn't sure if it was the quality of the food or my pregnancy. However, I haven't been back since, but I...

*1/28/2024 went there for lunch today and I'm shocked how incredibly packed this place was... I mean at noon on a Sunday the ENTIRE restaurant was already packed and a line was forming... I couldn't believe that to be honest... The food was STILL amazing... Obviously the lines of people confirmed that... The ONLY complaint about this place... There is NO HAND SANITIZER and it's way too warm in there... Being at the peak of Flu Season and Covid outbreaks... I left this place cringing BECAUSE it's a playground of germs... LITERALLY get hand sanitizer at EVERY table if you are going to keep have the volume of customers... Also turn down the heat and make it an ice box to reduce the incubator type germ production... Food was STILL amazing and I will go back in the summer lol... Fingers crossed 🤞 my family didn't come home with any...
