I wanted to share my experience at this location.
I have been eating here for years, it has gone up and down with some experiences I have had, BUT this last visit was fantastico!
When I walked in, they said "Hello!". Saying hello can change a person's whole perspective on service, which it did mine. There was one gentleman ahead of me, but, noticed a young lady, a possible assistant manager. She waved me down and said "What are you going to have today". Wow! I felt like royalty! Of course I explained, she was quick to voice the kitchen area chef's and relayed my needs. I then started the process with the young lady at the register and she formally took my order. During the payment, one of the chefs even flagged me down and stated, "What type of meat?", I said "Carne Asada". They were on it! Once I put my wallet in my pocket and started walking, my food was ready! Excellent teamwork for sure from this place. Now, that being said, I recognized what the manager was doing, she was expediting to be sure that I was taken care of as she noticed a couple behind me and another hungry customer coming in behind them. Great work! The manager didn't let me grab the plate yet as she offered to take it out for me. Me being great with customer service as well, said "I got it, its fine". My main reason for doing that, is I wanted her to be able to assist the other flock of customers coming in. That is just how I am...Customer service is my thing as well and I recognized that. Well done again Dos!
Later, after grabbing all my good salsa, etc., I then sat down and noticed a few other things. No trash cans, why, because they got it! You don't need to throw anything out, it's all done for you. I felt as if I was in my own house with compassionate, hard working people to take care of yuh!
Now, the tables and floors were immaculate, clean and neat. Great job Dos!
In closing: You don't feel like just another customer. You are treated as a guest, in which ALL restaurants, even fast food, should be treating customers. We aren't just a person coming in demanding things, we are here to pay and have a great meal, service experience.
Plusses about this place: +Great service +Clean and neat environment +Food will fill belly and very healthy to boot +Prices are reasonable, based on the ingredients and freshness of everything. +Staff is very cordial and supportive as a team and to the customers.
I give very high praises to the franchisee owner, if that is the situation. Great job and leadership across the board.
Thank you again...
Read morehonestly, I would give this restaurant a zero for their effort and quality when you order a burrito, you have to ask for them two or more times to make the order correctly. my swould I out of three times that I have been very specific on my order this chain on Sunrise Boulevard as performed below expectations. When I called in my order I was very very specific on what I wanted and when I got to the restaurant it was not what I ordered. The the last time I called and placed an order I was specific on what I wanted four times specific to find out that when I picked up the order came home and found that they messed up my order once again. I always love this company it's a chain restaurant but for some reason this particular restaurant does not have the staff that is knowledgeable to put an order together when it is seriously a very basic order. If you do visit this restaurant make sure you are specific more than four times as I was when I still receive the wrong food. I will not revisit this location until I am proven by other people that they can actually give you the food that you have orders. I speak English and I would think they could figure out what I was asking for. I don't like writing articles but when I come home to find the food I ordered was completely and accurate from what I ordered it's really hard for me to be positive about a company. Maybe it's the management I'm not really sure but I will give them one more chance and after this I will put it on further social media to let them know to be aware that this particular chain restaurant does not understand how to take an order from a customer. Moe's That was less than half a block away never messed up my orders but for some reason they closed their doors. Sometimes I wonder if big corporate like Dos Coyotes as a way to push the littler guy out of the way. After I get my last and final meal that they owe me I will never ever go back to Dos Coyotes at least at this restaurant. When I reread comments that I can trust about this Pacific Restaurant. I will return to give them another chance. I was very excited when I heard that they were coming in to this area and as now I am very disappointed that they did. I have nothing against this company at all except they don't know what they're doing at this...
Read moreThree stars is being generous. Having never been there and receiving a gift card for the joint, i went with my GF holding high expectations. This is a place where you stand in line to place your order, get a sign with a number and they bring it to your table. Ok that's fine. Not being able to read the menu up on the wall behind the cashier, I was shown a paper menu. There was really no place to stand or sit while trying to decide our meals. Now the place was busy (meaning I might be off base with this review) but it was chaotic trying to ask questions while the cashier took orders from others in line. The menu (for us) was confusing. After deciding what to have we then looked for a place to sit. The tables and chairs were set so close that it was extremely difficult to navigate thru the other folks trying to enjoy their meals to find a table! After finally sitting down at an empty table, I arose to hit the salsa bar for the chips and salsa the menu said came with the meal. Well...there were no chips. So I asked our loud about that. I was told "they come on your plate". Thats odd!! Other places either bring them while you wait for your meal or you grab a bowl at the salsa bar and go for it. Nope! When my meal did arrive, yes there were chips. All seven of them. Want more? Take your plate back up to the counter and they will give you some. Really?? So we got ready to eat. Hmmm... No silverware. We asked the waiter..... "Its over by the salsa bar". Huh? Really? So i stood up...plotted a course back thru the maze of tables to the salsa bar to retrieve out utensils. My return path to my table had to be modified due to the ever-changing chairs and tables. Ok so the food arrived while i was on my silverware journey but ill have to say it was "ok". Nothing to write home about though. Although we were seated about halfway in the middle of the dining area, it was windy and cold because the doors were constantly being opened (remember, i said it was busy)(and it was wintertime) anyway, I'll not be returning anytime soon. Don Quixote's is far better. I should qualify this review by saying i have over 14 years in the restaurant business from busboy to management. But... The place was busy so WTH do...
