Well, I have visited this store a few times and have not been impressed. The first time I visited this location it was freezing. I notified management of the chilly situation and they simply told me they have no control over the HVAC system. Here are my concerns with a burger establishment being too cold. Basically the customers are freezing, any food delivered to the customer cools down quickly as well. especially fries.
Recently I visited this location(5/22/23) to give it one more try, keep in mind it was quite awhile since my last visit. Here is what I encountered, which was very concerning.
I walked in, stood at the counter, I noticed ONE employee working/ cooking, she said to wait and she will be right there. Once she was done at the grill, she came up and took my order. I sat down after placing my order and noticed that two elderly folks were sitting at a booth and the person that took my order came to their table and said "The food is on me" . My immediate reaction to that was she was the only in there and may have taken too long to get their order. In more observations I noticed another gentleman coming in and just waiting there. She did see him, but said hold on I'll be right there. After about 4 minutes of cooking food for someone else, she then came up and took his order. Never once did I see her wash her hands. Once she now took his order she ran back and started cooking it. In the meantime, a GrubHub/or similar order came in and the gentleman kindly asked for his order however communication was limited between her and the GrubHub person. He then walked out, never saw him again.
In the end, I immediately recognized this is too much for one person. As a result I came up to pay the bill and simply mentioned "Are you short staffed today?". She simply said "Oh sorry, no, I called staff out to meet personel requirements and I want to get my bonus". This is absurd and ridiculous. This mentality shows disrespect for customers and and is a very negative reflection of the Smashburger company in a whole. I would feel very embarrassed if this was one of my employees that said this. Ridiculous to say the least.
I will not visit this site or any other sites in the future after this travesty.

For potential customers - Gross and greesy overpriced food, incorrect hours, but much, much worse service.
For, idk, the regional director, franchise owner? - The manager working the closing shift on December 29th should be reprimanded.
I asked for the BBQ bacon cheddar plain and it was full of onions. Came back at 9:05 and the doors were locked. Online hours say 9:30, as did the cashier (I asked when I came at 8:45 because it was so dead I thought it was closed), no hours on the door.
Wave down the cashier, she opens the door. Told her I was hoping to get it remade because there was a mistake. She said onions come on it, I said not when you ask for it plain. The advertisement is literally DOUBLE BBQ BACON CHEDDAR then under in lower case - "with haystack onions". I ask for one with everything and one plain (said it again actually, I go through this often, usually a complete non issue, definitely never felt compelled to write a lengthy complaint before )(they were actually both mistakes, mine was essentially normal and the other had specifically added lettuce and tomato??)
Anyway, she said she'll check with the manager. Closes the door behind her in the cold and somehow takes 3-4 minutes. Manager comes with a very combative attitude (I was very nice to the cashier). Had to haggle for a minute, manager eventually says "Fine, I'll do it this time, but next time..." To which I stopped her with "There won't be a next time."
Speed cooks it in 2 minutes. Manager comes out with an attitude (saying here in a rude voice). Then this was the following dialog, "I just have to say, an apology and maybe some fries, would have gone a long way rather than leaving me in the cold then being rude." "What??" "Exactly what I just said" "My fryer is already off, I can't make fries" "That is clearly not my point" WAVES ARM(!!) and says "Alright, get out of here, have a good night" I say "It's clear you don't care, but that was horrible business" she says "yeah, yeah, yeah"

Well today I was really craving sweet potato fries as I’ve only just tried them recently when my sister-in-law brought them over and I immediately fell in love. So to premise this, I wanted to find a delicious juicy cheeseburger and I want to find some delicious sweet potato fries or just something that was gonna make me feel even remotely better.In case anyone is wondering though , I hate to share my own personal self info because it’s depressing and hurts and I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me. I have severe fibromyalgia but along with that myofacial pain, chronic fatigues syndrome, ptsd, rheumatoid, there’s a multitude, but it’s reallyi hard to keep talking. I’m speaking into my phone.. Darrianna was such a sweetheart. It was hard for me to choke up the words to accurately describe what I wanted, it has even taken me 20 minutes to even write this review, but I totally believe in kindness and positivity, and that she deserves an awesome review. So I just wanted to acknowledge her Smashburger for hiring such a great young woman thank you so much, Darrianna! You definitely made me feel a lot better and you completely could read between the lines of what I was saying even though I wasn’t able to verbalize it thank you thank you thank you. For someone who is disabled or has a brain or pain disorder, it means the entire universe to them when somebody can actually understand what they’re trying to explain, and I’m just so thankful for people who take the time to acknowledge me and help me when they can. I will definitely be coming back to this Because of darrianna. Thank you kindly so much!!!
