1st let me say, my family is a HUGE fan of NY NY Pizza! They are our #1 go to, every week, for Pizza Friday. Today, I mistakenly used Siri to call them, while driving home to place an order for pickup, and Siri connected me to another one of their locations, instead of my normal spot (stupid GPS locations services). I, like an exhausted Easter drained Dad, show up to my normal Sheldon Rd joint, and embarrassingly realize that my food is at the Carrollwood NY NY. I humbly call Carrollwood, and pay for my pies, because I refuse to have others pay for my lack of attention. So, I accept that I am not getting this food, but decide to at least pay it forward, and send my Fam to just pick it up on their way back to Ocala (Easter Sunday Fam in town, on their way home, problem solved)... But, just before they close for the night, I get a call from the nicest front house rep at that location, Alysa, informing me that my Fam hasn't made it there in time, but offers to have one of their employees deliver our food (what?? they're closed. totally not her problem). She asks for my address, and finds someone that is already headed home, in our direction. In comes the next awesome employee, Haley. They coordinate, and sure enough. 26 mins later, our food is brought to our front door, mind you afterhours, only because these two employees went ABOVE and BEYOND. i started off in F&B 25 years ago, and now own 2 businesses, but through my years of experience, in multiple industries, I don't think I have ever seen such dedication and teamwork from a company to follow through, to close a deal, no matter what, like I did tonight. You may say, "well it was just pizza". And I would rebuttal with, "When needed, NY NY pizza is life!"... Thank you to Alysa & Haley for making sure that our need was met....

WHATEVER YOU DO - NEVER EVER tip OR PAY tHe delivery driver without checking your food because they'll do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING even if there are missing things and your food is ICE COLD!! I can guarantee that if I HAD CHECKED B4 I TIPPED OUR DRIVER & WITHHELD IT BCUZ MY FOOD WASN'T RIGHT, hed have definitely ret. NEW MANAGER REGUSED TO SEND OUT THINGS THAT THE KITCHEN DIDN'T HAVE TO COOK AT 5 MINUTES B4 CLOSING. FOR US, THE FOOD WAS ICE COLD, THE EXTRA SAUCE WE NEEDED (SO STINGY WITH THEIR SAUCE ON BAKED DISHES LIKE ZITI - NORMALLY OUR FAVORITE. IF ID CHECKED TO SEE THAT NO SAUCE ON THE SIDE WAS INCLUDED. FAIRLY CERTAIN OUR DRIVER DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE RETURNED THE EXTRA SAUCE & OTHER ITEMS THAT DIDN'T REQUIRE COOKING. AT THIS POINT IM SO FED UP i can't even eat this food. And the best the manager would offer after ruining my dinner & we have to find something to cook now is HALF OFF the next meal. THIS IS MY FOURTH ORDER THAT WASN'T COMPLETE. I HATE COMPLAINING TO RESTAURANTS BCUZ WERE AFRAID I'LL BE SPIT IN, A HAIR STUCK IN EACH DISH - WE KNOW THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS & THIS IS MY FIRST COMPLAINT. Read morePlaced an order online at 6:41 online and delivery estimate said it would be delivered between 7:26-7:41. I waited until 7:51, ten minutes after latest delivery time, then called for an update about where my order was. I gave the address as asked and was told “the delivery time was between 30 minutes to an hour and it hadn’t been an hour yet.” I said back that it had actually been an hour and 10 minutes and asked how much longer my delivery would take. It didn’t arrive until 8:01. The drive from the restaurant to my house is 1 single mile. This is absurd. The service and the time it took. Don’t bother with this place it’s not worth the headache and effort. I’d rather support a different business even if it is a corporate franchise opposed to this mess.
