Horrible service from not only the waitress, but the owner!!
They forgot to bring out the dinner for my 3 year old baby along with all the dishes, then when we confront the owner, we find out that the order was on the slip, but never cooked!! He says you didn't ask soon enough for the order, and we cooked it after you asked! Is it the responsibility of the customer or waitress to make sure all orders are completed, and if being courteous and waiting for the waitress is so wrong, what is the time frame we should be measuring to make sure the restaurant does its job?
Our drinks were not brought out until we asked for them. The food was served but without drinks, and people were eating with dry mouths thinking the beverages would be served any minute. Again, the customer had to do the work to remind the staff to correctly serve all items ordered! Are the staff members not trained properly to know when beverages are served?
There was no follow up after the food was brought out. No staff members asked how is everything or do you need anything else... basically you do all the work and continuously go to the counter for self-service. This is the dine-in experience at this restaurant.
The owner does not want any feedback or criticism. He has no intention to keep his customers happy or provide any type of customer service. Instead, he BLAMES his customers for mistakes by his staff and himself! What a...
Read moreOn my particular visit, I had just spent the day at the New York State Museum and had worked up quite an appetite. Our first instinct was a little place on New Scotland, but at 315pm, it was closed! We were going to go with Mexican, but wanted that gyro flavor we were craving. I had remembered my brother spoke of a place not too far away, so we ventured out. When we arrived, the place was jam packed and a large party was just leaving; every one smiling and satisfied with their meal. We ordered, after several people, while the one waitress cleaned up the large table. Our order was 2 lamb gyros that come with a white sauce and a hot sauce. We didn't wait too long, but it felt longer because our tummies were growling in protest. Our food arrived with 2 big bottles of the white and red sauce for our squirting pleasure. I don't think either of us set our gyro down and we only stopped eating to apply more sauces. The entire eating experience left me feeling elated and full. The flavors were what I was looking for but with an Afghan twist. We ended our savory celebration with a triangle of baklava on the car ride home with nothing but silence, happy grunts, and gooey honey stuck to...
Read moreCustomer service: is about what you provide to customers as part of your business and the amount you charge.
My opinion: I thought about to leave a review several times, but expected management will change the way they offer the services. As a business person I know how difficult is to satisfy the customer but I am a regular customer who visits this restaurant pretty much every week buying 34$ every week, and suggest my employees and my wife colleagues, I push people to go to this restaurant. I know the management doesn’t care about customer requests but remember that you run this business for customer. If you’re unable to provide sauce then I can do my own lamb and rice, try to understand your business, it’s not always meat. Did not like the way how associated treated me like an untouchable to do my sauce you don’t have right to touch customers card, use contactless pay for all customers.
“It’s not the customer’s job to know what they want.”...
