Eggy's Place — Restaurant in City of Albany

Eggy makes a great breakfast sandwich and tasty lunch items. He'll brighten your day every time and make you laugh. If it's raining you can call your order from your car so you don't have to stand in the rain to wait for it to cook. Lots of contractors stop here for breakfast & lunch. Sometimes there are some cranky customers from the streets; but this is a wide open space with lots of traffic, so I have never felt unsafe on the lot. Don't let the warehouse district empty lot type of location fool you. Eggy is an accomplished restaurant cook who now works for himself, serving a limited menu of really tasty food done right every single time. Exit 787 at Water Street, head towards the big abandoned warehouse, follow his signs and take a right and get breakfast in a bag to take to work. Be sure to leave him a tip in the cup. This was the best place ever! It looks a little sketchy on the outside The the owner is so cool, friendly, and nice. He clearly like anime so that’s a plus 😂. But seriously I showed up at 12:30 for breakfast (we got 2 bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches). Breakfast ended at 11 but he still made them for me anyways. If I ever go back to NY I’m eating there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is to die for we just left and I want another even though I’m full -miss pushy :)

Been loving Eggy's food for sometime. Under $10 for a full and happy belly. Whether for a burger, dogs or a lunch special which I suggest...my go to is the Italian beef with homemade garlic mayo.
