Shane provided great service and we enjoyed the playlist. The food? Pretty bad. Tried to order buffalo wings - which were on the menu - but was informed that they’re not bone-in, they’re actually tenders. Strange. Ordered a burger instead. Check the pic below. It was TINY! The burger bun was double the size of the overcooked, dry, unseasoned burger. The steak fries were okay. The ketchup bottle lid exploded off when I popped it open, revealing sour, bubbly ketchup. Obviously gross. We also had chicken tacos (wanted to mix and match but apparently everything is preportioned, so we couldn’t do that). The tacos were the worst I’ve ever tried. Dry shredded chicken without a trace is seasoning. They didn’t even SMELL like they were seasoned. We didn’t eat them. Unfortunately, there really aren’t many other restaurants open downtown in the summer. We had no choice but to eat here. Next time, we’ll eat somewhere else like McDonald’s. We suggest you skip this place.

Ophelia's is a great spot and a key location in Downtown Albany. The owner and his staff are incredibly open to working with others to create events and make this place welcome and open to everyone. The recent collaboration with Slidin' Dirty will only improve what was already a solid kitchen. Karaoke Wednesdays with Elvira behind the bar have been a hit. Monday Night Mixers celebrates industry folk and showcase local DJs. It's a bar, venue, and eatery all in one. There's something here for everyone. Don't sleep on this one.

We inadvertently showed up during Karaoke night. While it wasnt a remake of The Voice, everyone was having a great time and quite a variety of genres being played. The food was good, the service was really good. Our waitress stopped by a few times, and a couple other members of the staff would stop by and check in on us, or refill drinks. It was a decent spot and he doesn't like dinner and a show!

If I could give less than a 1 star review I would and in fact this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a review on anything. I went to a family members show at Ophelia's on Friday and it was an utter disaster. Lets start with the food and bar service. They were out of so many things and what they were not out of was somehow served both burnt and cold. No marinara for the mozzarella sticks. Burgers were like cold lumps of coal. The two flavors of wings I ordered were UNSAUCED. The cook was i guess afraid I wouldn't want them to touch and instead of having the server ask me or putting them on two small separate trays the wings arrived unsauced! just 10 wings, and two small cups, one of honey siracha and one of just oil that was supposed to be garlic parm. There was no parm. No garlic. Just a tiny cup of oil to dip my share of chicken wings into. Brilliant. Bar service was beyond slow. Bar tenders standing around. Every single person there was in utter shock of how long it took anyone to get a drink. Including bands. The show was reasonably attended but I would not say the staff was overwhelmed in any capacity at any time. Now for the show! I am not a massive fan of punk rock but I went to support my nephew. All of these bands though had a level of professionalism to their performance. Although I am not a punk rock aficionado, I have played in country rock bands for 35 years and I can tell a thoughtfully put together project when I see it and these boys were all doing it! However, the sound tech was beyond bad and thusly the show SOUNDED beyond bad. Almost painful to be in the room. This person clearly had no idea what was going on. Why would a venue employ someone with NO sound engineer skills? No monitors working. No audible vocals. Just a total mess. Perhaps they lied about their abilities to the owner? But the look in their eyes said they were throw into the deep end by careless owners. The room itself was nice but HOT as hell. One AC simply did not work, the other was positioned in a way that an utterly stupid, tacky, trashy, and genuinely dirty arrangement of tapestries caught all the cool the one AC could put out and trapped it above the crowd. When we went to try and reach up, maybe to stretch or to try and get to some of the cool air and touched the tapestry you would be COVERED in dust. I cannot for the life of me understand how a place like this can be so mismanaged. 0/10 stars. We will never be back because I'm not sure people making this amount of mistakes can ever be self aware enough to...

Great place for live music, but I use a wheelchair and even though I was told that they were accessible, they aren't. The door staff is incredibly helpful and helped get me and my chair up the outside step and offered to carry me up the 5 steps leading to the room where the stage is. I wasn't comfortable with that, but I had brought my crutches just in case I found barriers. What I didn't expect is that the bathroom is absolutely not usable by a wheelchair user. I could barely get through the door, and inside, there are 4 stalls that are too narrow for even my narrow chair. Had I been told that, I would have had my crutches with me to get inside even though it's not ideal. I'm very shaky on them and I fall frequently. This is a constant problem when I try to go out and be social! It's incredibly demeaning and embarrassing, so I won't be returning to Ophelia's unless they contact me to tell me (and show me) that they have made changes and are completely accessible by a wheelchair user without needing help from the staff or other patrons. Dignity is...

Called ahead to make a reservation for 16 people. When we got there they split us into two tables and told us we had to order quickly food, so we did. The table I was at waited over 1.5 hours to get our food after ordering (which was cold by the time we got it), even with that wait not everyone received their food so we cancelled a few orders. The other table had received and finished eating their food long before my table got food. The waiter also never came over to check on us during that time so we didn’t get any refills on our drinks or a chance to order more alcoholic drinks. We even went to the bar to ask if we could get more drinks from them and they said no only our waiter can give us drinks, but she still never came over until we were finally served out food. By that time we just wanted to leave so we didn’t bother asking for refills/drinks. Terrible experience, if they can’t accommodate a large party then they should’ve said that when we called them in advance. This place is basically just a bar that’s trying to pretend it’s also a sit...
