This place was amazing. Food was so good. My husband got the shrimp and scallop diovlo spaghetti and I had the special which was Mediterranean shrimp and scallops. The sauce on mine was to die for. We also has 2 cannolis that were just perfect. We love going to places where it is family owned and they come out and see how your dinner was. You just don't see that anymore. So down to earth. There was also a father and son eating and the owner came out and asked the little boy if he wanted a meatball and the boy was just so excited and shocked on how big it was. Just to see the smiles from everyone was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going back again for sure

This is definitely a hidden gem in Canandaigua, I have no words to describe the food, it is outstanding. The service is fenomenal, great family environment. I'm coming back here, that's for sure. Thank you to the staff, they were awesome. Update: We have been coming to casa de pasta for many years, this restaurant has become our family tradition for special occasions like mother's day, father's day, birthdays. I really appreciate that the staff is really polite and nice. The food is always tasty. We will keep coming here!!!!

First time dining here… Our waiter was very attentive. He helped us celebrate a 65th birthday. The owner/chef made the dining rm rounds and was very congenial.. Dining room was clean and well spaced. Apps, salads, entrées (Blueberry Delmonico and Norwegian Salmon w risotto), and dessert were all fabulous. Pricing was very reasonable. Looking forward to a return visit.

Food not bad at all.... BUT they have prices of a HIGHER END RESTAURANT VERY FEW OPTIONS! And quality DOES NOT MATCH PRICE! You can tell they use standard or lower quality ingredients and standard/ lower quality food! No offense but if I wanted standard food I would go to Applebee's or somewhere else for half the price! $28 for the cheapest steak they have and $40+ for the other steaks? almost $20 for spaghetti that tastes no better then what I can make at home? no thanks for those prices I could pretty much go anywhere else and get MUCH BETTER lets put it this way... lets rate this restaurant scale of 1 to 10 they are about a 4-5... its not bad its OK but they charge as if they are a 9/10 HIGH CLASS RESTAURANT WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST and they have CHEAP food! there profit margins MUST BE ROBBERY lets also put it this way if I step foot in a higher end restaurant that charges ALOT say $20 for spaghetti It's good be some MOUTH WATERING SPAGETTI made my a PROFESSIONAL CHEF and its good be some of the best spaghetti Ive had! Here its like almost $20 for spaghetti but its like bleh... grandma can probably do better... NO JUST NO!!!! If you don't believe me go to THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY OR SOMETHING YOU SIT DOWN AND PAY $20 FOR SOME SPAGETTI AND YOU TASTE FOR YOURSELF WHAT A $20 SPAGETTI AND MEATBALLS IS SUPPOSED TO ACTUALLY TASTELIKE AND YOU COMPARE THEIRS TO THIS PLACE AND YOU WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! PAY THAT HERE!!!!! When you can go there instead! if I wanted "Ok" "meh" spaggetti I WOULD GO TO THE FRICKEN DELI AND PICK SOME CHEAP BLEH STUFF UP FOR 10 BUCKS OR MAKE IT MYSELF FOR $5 AT HOME!!! LMAOOOOOOO not to be rude but its facts Y'all need to LOOK IN THE MIRROR CHECK YOURSELVES AND LOWER YOUR PRICES TO A REASONABLE LEVEL!! know where you STAND... THANK YOU...

If we could give a negative number of stars we would. Long wait despite reservations. Terrible food. Already drunk and rowdy guests (a table of about 10) being served at their table more shots by the bar tender who came out to drink with them. Shouting and swearing. 40% of the menu unavailable. Some food over cooked, some undercooked. Chicken French was sitting on the plate in a pool of water. Even the server agreed it looked horrible. Veggies were mushy. Steak was drowned in some sort of thick balsamic glaze…I mean not visible at all due to the amount. We were never offered bread. Not good. Atmosphere not romantic. Kind of like a finished basement from the 70s with paneling and a bar with mismatched clown art and odd photos accompanied by a tea light on each table. No space to walk past the bar, or even through the door. When offered to pick a dessert for free because we had to send the food back because it was so horrible, each dessert we picked was unavailable. Settled for a single cannoli which came with the filling melted and puddled out. Going to McDonalds would have been more romantic. Space is too tight for anyone who may have a mobility issue. Atmosphere is very noisy with an echo so talking to each other was near impossible. Worse experience we ever had at...

We have gone here several times and have raved about the food. This visit we noticed prices increased and food sizes and quality decreased. Then we found a winged bug under a pile of vegetables on our plate! We were eating outside but there were no bugs around. Certainly none climbing under our food. We told the waitress. Next Joe the owner came out in a chef uniform claiming to be the chef who has "worked there 10 years". He was rude, combative and condescending in front of 2 other tables. He accused us of lying and said we were implying someone sabotaged our food? I told him he was out of line and that is no way to address a customer. This was a dirty kitchen issue and not my problem! How dare you accuse me of lying? Totally unprofessional and appeared to be drunk or under the influence of something else. NEVER COMING BACK. He offered to void out our dinners and then charged us $10 for salads that came with the dinner. If you're that hard up for cash,...
