Peacemaker Brewing Company — Restaurant in City of Canandaigua

My partner & I decided to do a “Canandaigua Brewery Tour” for our annual lake trip this year, and Peacemaker was our last stop. We have been visiting the lake since 2020, but hearing the news that our most frequented brewery (YLBC) sold their brand sparked us to broaden our horizons past the select few breweries we’d normally visit. Peacemaker was a very pleasant surprise. A chill vibe, tasty beers, and a personable staff. They have a selection of fun bar games to play too. I was expecting to enjoy a brewery named after my favorite musician, but I couldn't expect an experience as good as Peacemakers offered us.

I sampled many of their beers, and they were all delicious, but Buffalo is my favorite, a chocolate and vanilla brown ale.

Make sure to stop by when they have entertainment! They have a stage inside for small acoustic acts, and they set up a stage outside in their yard, and make it very welcoming with seating and fire pits.

My husband and I can't say enough about how great this place is. It's our go to date day location, always so laid back and the people are super friendly and welcoming. They also have a fantastic outdoor space with corn hole boards, jumbo jenga and a giant connect 4 board to keep guests entertained.
