Mark's Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Geneva

Alright, you probably wonder why I gave this great little Pizzeria 5 stars? Well, we were stopping overnight in Geneva and passing through downtown when my wife saw this corner pizza joint. We were feeling like some pizza! Takeout. OK, so we stopped and went in. The owner, Mark, was very cool. Told us what the choices for slices were at the moment and we got two huge slices of pepperoni pizza. OK then I asked if by chance he served up fries too? He does! So I get a fresh order of fries to go also. Alright... so we get back to our room, open up the pizza boxes and dig in. Man the pizza was just like when I was growing up in Chicago! Perfect crust.... lottsa delicious tomato sauce, thick portions ah da cheeze and enough pepperoni to go around those slices! It tasted like honest mouthwatering, pizza joint pizza I LOVED! It was so good. The flavor was spot on! OK. Then we got to the fries. So I can imagine what you folks who live in Geneva might be thinking now........ Man those fries were PERFECT. They were hands down the best freakin' fries I've ever had. I mean it. I've had a lotta fries. Fries from so many different places, in so many different places, but these were wonderful. We didn't even want to put anything on these golden taste treasures! Nothin'! Just the fries, straight up. They crunched, then melted in my mouth. Ok, youze guys in Geneva got some ah da' best fries in the country. So the Finger Lakes region has some pretty decent wines — but you gotta try Mark's Pizzeria fries. They ARE the best in the region. I placed an order for delivery at 8:06 pm... gave address, phone number, hotel room number, debit card information. As I hung up the phone, the girl said, "You are all set." An hour later, no pizza, so I called back only to be told that they had no record of my order and was asked if I was sure I was calling the right location. I explained that I hit redial on the number I called an hour earlier, so I knew I called same number I'd placed an order with. I was asked again for the my phone number and address, and then I was told that they don't deliver to the hotel I'm staying in. I was told the "phone girl" didn't know she took an order from someone outside of their delivery area. So I have a pending charge on my debit card that shows MARK'S PIZZERIA GENEVA NY, but they don't deliver where I'm staying. What I can't figure out is why didn't anyone call me back to let me know of the "phone girl's" error? They had my hotel phone number and room number, so there's no excuse for such poor...

Just Ordered from here and I gotta say.. 5 stars well earned! I placed an order online and I had made a mistake on my phone number.. so after I placed the order I called and the guys there made it easy and convenient. So I normally expect it to be 1 hr and some change to get done.(((My order was party pack pizza and 1 traditional wing set. With drinks))) I'm not too picky on the time but I was really suprised when 45 mins later I got a knock at my door and it was Reese (sorry if I messed up the name) with my order! He didn't even need to call for help, he knew where I lived. Other places always call but he made it without the help. Very nice addition to the team and local knowledge really helps.. Very nice and polite! These guys rock and I'll be ordering from here for now on! Thank you Mark's Geneva Team!
