Atmosphere and Ambiance Mad Chicken boasts a modern, chic interior with comfortable seating and an inviting ambiance. The decor is a perfect blend of urban cool and cozy comfort, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door.
The Menu The menu at Mad Chicken is a testament to culinary creativity and excellence. They offer an impressive variety of chicken dishes, each one more enticing than the last. Whether you're in the mood for classic fried chicken, spicy wings, or something more gourmet, Mad Chicken has got you covered.
Star Dishes One standout dish that I absolutely have to mention is their signature fried chicken. It's crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The flavors are robust and satisfying, striking the perfect balance between savory and spicy.
Another must-try is the Mad Chicken Sandwich. It features a perfectly cooked chicken breast, topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a delectable house sauce, all sandwiched between a soft, toasted bun. It's a symphony of textures and flavors that will leave you craving more.
For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the spicy wings are an absolute delight. They are generously coated in a fiery sauce that packs a punch without overwhelming the palate. Paired with their house-made ranch dressing, these wings are a flavor explosion.
Sides and Extras The sides at Mad Chicken are no afterthought either. The waffle fries are crispy and golden, providing the perfect accompaniment to any main dish. The coleslaw is fresh and tangy, offering a refreshing contrast to the rich and savory chicken.
Value for Money Despite the high quality and gourmet feel of the dishes, Mad Chicken remains affordable, offering great value for money. Portion sizes are generous, and each meal feels like a well-deserved treat.

Read moreYesterday, I finally made it to Mad Chicken. I never heard of the restaurant and now I know it's a chain. Well, it's not Southern fried chicken. But, I'll tell you what it is and that's tasty with a dash of fantastic fries. I COULD NOT stop eating them. The perfect cut. Something you don't see, the perfect thickness and consistent flavor that's not drowned in salt or sugar, goodbye McDonald's fries. Mad Chicken for the win. Now, let's talk about that chicken. My personal opinion, it is best eaten over a bed of lettuce. Or, in one of their famous bowls. You will not be disappointed. I had no expectations. Which, is the best mindset for your palette to be blown away. The presentation is nothing short of your taste buds dancing in union with your heart and mind saying, come here...Lol. Truly, epic moment when you see the chicken portion. High price tag justified. You will lose your mind with delight over the salads or any of the chicken bowls. The eating experience feels and taste like an honor. The establishment was made for take out. But, the interior begs otherwise. Glen Cove's hidden secret, needs to get louder and wider. Mad Chicken. The secret? customers like myself are having a Mad Chicken, eating experience, and in a...
Read moreVery disappointed. First off there's no heat in the store. It was about 50⁰ in the store. Showed up at 8:30 in a Friday night. Website states they are open until 2am. My wife wanted the grilled chicken on the menu and the guy at the counter said it would be 40 minutes because they turned off the grill. No idea why the grill is off nowhere near closing time. So I got a 4 piece tender meal. It's 4 tenders, some waffle fries and a can of soda for $18. The chicken tenders are basically the equivalent of getting tenders at a bowling alley. Absolute trash compared to chick fil a or PDQ. They don't use a batter. It's basically hammered out tenders rolled in sand. Fries were decent but absolutely no flavor/seasoning on anything. And to top it off the 1 guy at the counter needs a class in customer service. Dude looked high as hell, puss on his face and incredibly unfriendly. Overall terrible experience, will never be going back. Roller rink tenders are tip tier compared to mad chicken.
Edit: i will say that they have other items on the menu that may be better but I can only speak on what I ordered. I still won't be trying any of those other items just due to my first...
