7/20/2023 - My earlier review will be below. - this time was completely ruined because my date and I paid almost $100 (not including tip), used a gift card that was faulty (it said it had a zero balance but should have had $100 on it, and there was not even an apology!!). The broccoli came out cold. Both t-bones ($45 each) were grizzly. We were charged $.50 for butter. I will not be returning. My date and I both got the prime rib special this past Christmas Eve (2021). And I'm fairly sure the prime rib was so undercooked that my date got food poisoning. His looked redder than mine, plus I avoided the really red part of mine. Unrelated, the women's room was beautiful but not in the restaurant, and I had to ask for directions to find it.

Are you actually joking? This was 6 dollars… 3 florets and 2 tiny tiny florets. Steamed, but not even drained so they were still waterlogged. That comes to a little more than $1 per floret. I know there’s inflation but this is pretty despicable.

Friendly and attentive service, and airy ambience. The food was good, especially the generous flatbread; the salad was okay.

For several years my family has come to the Queensbury hotel. We have watched it grow and got to know many of the employees. On Wednesday night, my husband and I had a very nice experience in the Fenimore's pub, which actually originated in the lobby. We were sitting by the fire and Tanya, who would later become our server came up and greeted us with a smile. She remembered us from the year before and asked how our children were doing. We were kind of shocked as we didn’t have our kids with us, with how much she actually remembered. We had reservations for another restaurant in town but she told us about the new menu and convinced us to stay. She was very knowledgeable about the “new” menu. Actually what impressed us more was her knowledge on the history of the hotel. She described the “culinary team” (as she worded it) as a “million dollar team that comes from all over the county”. Between the excellent service but also the meals we shared, it really put into perspective how special the queensbury hotel and their staff really is. We will be back again, hopefully it doesn’t take us another year. But we look forward to the familiar friendly faces we always run into. Makes it feel like our home away from...

Call this place Cheers because I was a regular here. Yes, I was known by name. I was just driving home, and, on my scenic route (🏞️ ) I got reminded of singing here back some years ago. It was good ‘ol’ Open Mic night @ this spot and I decided to sign up. You may ask, “who was in attendance?” well, I brought my almost 90-year old Gma with me, my uncle, my dad, and maybe a cousin or 2. I had quite a bit of courage—not just liquid. Stemming from a manic episode and fueled by a heart that decided to close a chapter.. At any rate, I sang Bobby McGee- a Janis Joplin song, & an Adele song ? (Need to verify the 2nd). Oh! And it was streamed on Facebook Live 🙃 Well, the story goes I was told all my life I can’t sing. Welp.. really showed them that day! Now, I never said I sang well 🤣🥹 I always wanted to be a musician. The closest I got was being on this stage, some vocal lessons (2-times), and piano lessons a couple times over. I don’t drink anymore: kicked the can 20 months ago + counting. Guess I got reminded of my singing voice, Fenimore’s, and this story when I was singing on my way home - I had the volume lower and I could finally hear 👂...

So my husband and I went to this restaurant for his 42 birthday tonight. We had a group of 10 people ate sat in the middle of the room, the place was very busy and they only had one server. Let me tell you this hotel used to be amazing top notch but not ANYMORE. Our flat bread pizza was covered in oil and the pizza was so hard to eat. It was hard and crunchy. Also our friend got the salmon and there was a hair in her food which we told the server and she brought us a new dish which didn’t help the fact there was a hair in the first one , who wants to eat another dish after that !! Also the chicken wings were dry with barely any sauce on it . I also got a special drink on the menu and it was water down and tasted no alcohol at all . So this place has gone down hill in the past year and we will never recommend this place again.

UPDATE -AS YOU CAN SEE THE OWNER DID WRITE BACK TO ME ON HERE AND NOW ITS 8/7 AND I CALLED HIM 2 DAYS AGO AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND HE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME, GOES TO SHOW HOW MUCH HE CARES ABOUT...
