I needed a 60th birthday cake for my mom’s surprise party for Saturday June 15th. I emailed the bakery to inquire about strawberry cake. I was told they didn’t offer strawberry flavored cake only strawberry buttercream even though their website advertises strawberry flavored cake. Then was told they couldn’t have the cake ready for me on Saturday June 15th because it was Father’s Day weekend, so instead they told me Thursday 2 days prior to the party. I asked the girl if the cake would still be good for Saturday and she told me yes. $90 spent on a cake that was gorgeous to look at but not so good taste wise. The cake was extremely dry, no strawberry buttercream inside the cake like I had ordered and the cake was extremely sweet. It was extremely embarrassing that none of the party guests enjoyed the cake. It pretty much became a decoration prop for the party. I probably would have had a better cake from a local...

Visited Glen Falls with my husband and stumbled on this place. We stopped for coffee but everything looked so delicious we decided to try the cupcakes and cinnamon roll. OMG!!! Absolutely delicious. I have tried so many famous bakeries in NYC and the level of deliciousness from this bakery can’t be compared. This young girl (the owner) is absolutely talented and you can tell she really loves what she does. Amazing baker!! We decided to go back the next day before heading home to get more cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and macaroons. We tried the macaroons on our drive back and omg the macaroons were out of this world. This location has been fifteen minutes from my home for years and I didn’t realize it until they became Flour Child Bakery, taken over by new owners. I stopped in and found they made macarons - my absolute favorite treat and so hard to find in this area!! - and oh. My. God. These are the best macarons I’ve had in years, if not ever! The flavors are incredible, the texture is always perfect, and they’re just so beautiful. I had to stop in again and tried a sugar cookie along with my macarons this time. Phenomenal!
